Mavericky Puig

This. Puig will perform very well against any side like Alaves (giving him tons of space and time to make a decision) but it's a totally different match vs teams who close down fast, are physical, and fast. To be fair though, Puig played very well vs Atletico Madrid last season.

The problem with PSG is we may have very limited possession, which essentially makes Puig a lot less capable.

If PSG are so fast and so good on possession that we cannot compete there, we should put in every player above 1,85 and try to defend the box and hope for some counter.
But I say Barcelona can dominate PSG

They can have this approach and have a chance, or they can pussy out and have no chance (bar Messi making something crazy)
Almost noone thought Barcelona would have a chance in 2009 against Man Utd with all defenders gone (I didn't) but Barcelonas chance is always to dominate the ball. With MSN they could trade chances, but not anymore.

Not playing Puig is not 'pussying out'.

Didn't catch the match tonigh and he's starring?

What was so great about his game tonight?

He wasn't particularly great, played a pretty quiet game but was good as expected. Tried some chipped final passes, a couple were just too low but one found Messi
Combined well sometimes, generally were in the right position and made the correct decision. Increased the tempo by not finding the closest player always.

Ronald Koeman: "Riqui Puig has improved many things. He played a great game today. He always puts in a lot of energy and enthusiasm”

Involved, always running into empty spaces, good turns, good touches, excellent passing.

But Koeman hates Puig, has agenda against him.

Nope.

He surely did have.
It's great that he seems to give tahat up recently.
If he gets to play more now, it might show to have been great that Koeman treated him like shit for half a year

Or he simply knows Puig is just like this. A squad player that fits a sub and rotation role.

Anyway, who is other 4 best midfielders in the world accroding to you??? Is Gundogan as good as Puig??? Just wonder.

My guesses would be Thiago and Busquets. Will find out soon enough.
