It would be an odd coincidence if the 150 million put in the fund days after we received 150 million from the last lever was not the same 150 million, surely ?

It is not coincidence at all, in my opinion it is their attempt to account for the capital gains from the 25% of TV rights sold to Six Street. It is not money we actually received from them, capital gains, again.

Seems like these journalists know more about our books than Barca's board.

Take it with a grain of salt. The board seems to know what they are doing this summer.

If financial tricks are needed to fight these dumb La Liga rules, so be it. They just have to be smart ones. And if we smell an opening to sue La Liga if they block some player registration based on anything else besides what is legal, sue them.

They should've included 'Koeman' somewhere in the text to see you eat it up as absolute truth.

Bar?a's legal services see clear signs of criminality in the 4 renewals that Bartomeu signed for T.Stegen, Piqu?, Lenglet and De Jong.

The renewals brought the club a saving of between 16/18M € in the 1st year, but compromised, according to the club's calculations 311M € in wages. A salary reduction was agreed in the 1st year, but in return, all but Piqu? almost doubled their salary in the following years

All 4 players have been spoken to and Piqu? is the only one who agrees to reach an agreement

The club wants these contracts voided and returned to the conditions before the renewals, but it is in the hands of lawyers and legal services, who see signs of criminality.

Not surprised to see Pique backing away immediately lol. He has aspirations to become Club President in the future and it would be a terrible look on him to be entangled in a legal dispute with the club over this.

Also Bartomeu signed off on this a week before he resigned. Massive dickhead. Need to get thrown off in the sea.

How is criminality though from my side as a player if some dumb dude makes me an offer to triple my salary?

Bartomeu should be in jail. That man is a rat of the highest order. Is he still a socio?

And what part of this is criminal and in what way?

Bartomeu just exploited the weakness of Barcelona's club model. You had in essence an infiltrated rat who didn't give a shit about the club, who somehow climbed his way up to the very top.

The President has huge powers and is not contributing with his own money. Basically he can blow up the house, he leaves, and you are left with a monumental pile of shit to clean up afterwards.

You can't prosecute him for incompetence. And since he was president over a club as big as Bacelona, he didn't need to break the law. All he had to do is cripple the club and save his own ass.

If Barca can build a case and ruin Bartomeu until he doesn't have a dime left, that would be the sweetest thing ever.

Bartomeu claims that the renewals of Piqu?, De Jong, Ter Stegen and Lenglet in 2020 were validated by Bar?a lawyers, audits and La Liga.
Barcelona are holding talks with the agents of Frenkie de Jong and Ter Stegen to try to lower the players' salaries.
Bar?a's lawyers have told the board to take the renewals of Ter Stegen, Piqu?, Lenglet and De Jong to court. If criminal irregularities are found, they'll be voided. In this case, the players will pay back the difference with respect to their last contract.
Disgusting, but the abscess is open. That's good.

True. We need more clear actions and less circus. If the legal team sees wrongdoings and thinks the extensions signed between Bartomeu's board and the players were fraudulent, go ahead and settle it in court.

If the inquest finds that they were illegally contracted players and we played them knowing that then presumably significant sanctions will be applied on us too.

The wrongdoing here in the eyes of the authorities, the other teams in the league and in football is down to FC Barcelona. It's not FC Bartomeu or FC Laporta, there is collective responsibility for the actions taken by the previous board also and considering this any legal action would likely leave us worse off due to punishments/penalties.
