Otherwise, it would be one of the worst thing to do to sell him right now for your books. His transfer weighs 15 M each year during 4 year. You would have to sell him for 45 M not to make a loss. No one is going to pay that for a non performing at all 31 y.o. player.

Arthur had some good games and one great against Tottenham. Nothing special for two seasons at the club. But Pjanic, who has great experience in European football, is helpless on the pitch, which leads him in the end to try to score a long range goal out of desperation, Coutinho style. Another player that will leave the club with bitter feelings, but nobody but him is to blame. Passing the ball to Messi in traffic, Alba or Dest who are open on the wing is not enough. A playmaker's task is to read all other 6-7 players' movement up front to give that key pass that will break the defensive wall.

One of the dumbest things anyone could do is come out and complain about the lack of game time, especially with a coach who won't take Bullshit like Koeman and Lucho.
It's not like Pjanic was a Koeman requested signing either as he was signed two months before Koeman was appointed. If Pjanic came here thinking he was automatically going to be a bonafide starter based on reputation then boy he was wrong and Koeman saw what this guy was doing in training and decided he simply wasn't good enough to be a starter in comparison to the likes of Busi and De Jong.
He was however at some point Busi's back up but as the season went on the guy basically ended up being behind Moriba and even Puig is getting more runouts these days in comparison to Pjanic. I'm all for giving guys second chances to prove themselves but with Pjanic, he needs to be sold this summer. Because he's taken up space and wages that someone else would be far more useful than he currently is.

Pjanic's legs are gone. Even if his technique is still good, and it is tbh, his passing is okay, the man is finished as in can't run and carry his weight on the field. Last thing we need to do is to put in another oldie that needs others to compensate for him.
