Confederations Cup 2013 - Final: Brazil 3-0 Spain

Thiago Silva is amazing once again. Marcelo and Dani Alves are playing like deep lying playmakers.

    Daniel Alves

No he doesn't. His crosses are off, but he is the main creative force in this team. He surely outpassed Brazil's midfielders.

I completely agree... Paulinho and Gustavo are afraid/incapable to pick up the ball and that results in a lot of long balls from the CBs.

    Isco

Thiago is a player like Xavi and Iniesta, while Isco is a player like Silva and Mata. So Thiago and Isco can easily play together...There is no need to choose between the two!

Is it just me or the Fernando-Hernanes duo is playing much better than the Gustavo-Paulinho one?

    Isco

Guys you do realize that they don't play in the same position? Does this bother you at all? Also, Thiago doesn't show anything? Is this real life?

This guy looks like a better version of Yaya Toure. Impressive video.

Come on guys! Give Neymar a break, that was a very good run!

    UEFA European U21 Championship

Nice! Is Norway going to park the bus vs Spain or they have quality to play high pressing football?

    Cesc Fàbregas

Yeah we have tried it before and we didn't play well, but that does not mean that we cannot try it again. There are some really easy games in Camp Nou, especially if you have a fit Messi playing upfront. If Thiago stays I expect this to happen more often.

    Pedro Rodriguez

Nice move/skill from Pedrito around 2.00 . He played good as well and I see him being a starter.

Confederations Cup 2013 - Final: Brazil 3-0 Spain

Does anybody know what time the games start here in Europe? The calculation of time difference makes me look more stupid than usual.

    Cesc Fàbregas

Only Valdes (31) started more games than Fabregas(30) in La Liga.

    Alexis Sanchez

I understand your opinion, but I don't agree with it. Alexis' tap-ins doesn't make him a better player than Pedro, nor Fabregas' goals make him a better forward than David Villa. Anyway I personally don't value stats at all, because I think they are misleading and they bring a very cynical way...

    Alexis Sanchez

Stats have no place in a football discussion in my opinion. For example Thiago has 0 goals and 0 assist in the current U-21 tournament, but he is also, if not the best, the second best performer of the team. If you only care about goals and assists you should only watch the highlights and not...

You are right! I don't know I got that mixed up...

    Manchester City

So, let me get this straight... The best manager in the history of La Liga, with the most expensive squad in the history of La Liga, play against the team that finished third the previous year (while Madrid was first) with an unknown manager in his first professional job and gets humiliated 2-6...
