Shots fired, he's for sure not coming back from the loan.

Lionel "The Greatest of All Time" Messi

You don't know what you have until it's gone.

    Luis Suárez

Messi carried him massively too, let's not forget. I appreciate Messi more now that he's gone.

    Luis Suárez

Haaland is only one CL goal away from matching Suarez's CL goal tally. 26 vs 27. Never realized how low impact Suarez was in the CL.

CL Round 2: Bayern Munchen - FC Barcelona 2-0

He always turns up big against us. It's quite amazing, he always manages to sprint for 90 mins whenever it's us.

    Xavi Hernández

The big question that lingers in my mind: If he fails (no trophies, 2nd place, early CL exit), does he get the sack? Rather, should he get the sack?

    Marcos Alonso

Ya looked a lot more defensive until the last 10 mins. No way you can compare him to Alves
  9. Richard.H

    Marcos Alonso

Completely disagree, he is more physical and wins a lot more aerial duels.

    Sergio Busquets

The problem with this club and Spain FC is that they believe the tiki-taka barca can be replicated with him as the center piece. I know Catalans/Spaniards are a stubborn bunch but it seems like the club just refuses to adapt to 2022 and how much football has changed since then. Both Lucho and...

    Sergio Busquets

You simply cannot compete in CL with him in the lineup. Still a good player, but just not up to the CL physical standards

    Jordi Alba

    I hope he doesn't start.

I believe Djokovic's dad was a pro skier. TBF there is an advantage to many sports for being rich. A lot of European footballers come from well off families (their parents are rich, their parents have some connection to FIFA/UEFA). It's not a tennis thing.

Serena and Venus grew up in Compton and their family was very blue collar. They are the exception yes but it's not so exclusively rich.

That's true regarding the older era, but in this day of social media, can players stay as disciplined as the big 3 when it comes to diet, training, mental training? The lengths that players like Nadal have gone to keep themselves at absolute best shape are insane and an underrated part of their...

Even 10 is a lot mate. The big 3 has really hazed the memory of tennis fans. Having 4-5 GS wins was considered a massive success for a tennis player before Federer. There is so many factors in winning 10 slams, here is just a few: Physical health, mental fortitude, clutchness (facing match...

    Tennis

Good tennis from Alcaraz. His 1-2 with serve and forehand winner reminds me of Federer at times, and his mental game sometimes reminds me of Djokovic. Only time will tell if he will stay consistent like the big 3. I remember when people hyped up Raducanu and Fernandez in the womens game but they...
