Thought he was pretty good in context. Was the only one creating momentum, pushing Betis back. Gave the ball away a few times but so did everyone else. Pedri certainly wasn't any better when he came on and he had the luxury of playing alongside Messi and De Jong in build up.

There were two very nice moments where he basically received it in his own half with his back to the goal and turned it into an attack with one-twos, quick passing and running into space. He adds a lot of verticality that way.

That situation with Januzaj was embarrassing. You can't have a player that slow play in important matches. Nearly cost the game in a situation any midfield should be able to handle easily.
