Thiago is not a star signing to me. Compared to our star/galactico signings it's not. When you compare them to us, RM, Man U, Chelsea, City, they do more lowkey signings. I'm not gonna mention FC Germany aka Bayern because entire league just gives them players.

They run a very tight ship and I don't know why people are including them too. When was the last time Liverpool made some big star signing? I recall all of their signings being somewhat lowkey. Even Mo Salah was not that huge in Roma before he came.

The issue is a player like him won't accept an "adjusted" salary. I don't see him as some type of a loyal player that would do the club a favor. I have no doubt he would try to leave if we try to change his salary. He is very talented indeed, but I am not sure how effective he is for this Barca.

You can't blame Roma and Bayern only on Semedo. There are a few players I recall that didn't perform up to par for both matches.
