    Frenkie de Jong

Why do a few keep thinking Mazroauri would have just come to us, maybe just maybe he actually wanted to go to Bayern, a big club in their own right. Reports are we tried for him & he said No, much in the same way Kounde said no to Chelsea & they really really pushed for him, doesn't work like...

    Frenkie de Jong

I agree if he would agree to leave that would be a decent amount off our wage bill & a solid 70-80m, we can add to our net transfer war chest. I'd take a punt on one of those cheaper players we've been linked with from Argentina. Whild De Jong as been solid for us since being here, that's all...

    Ligue 1

Psg have a 2 great fullbacks & a decent DM and still taking L's in lique 1, damn. There CB position is still a weakness, & that DM is only decent. Messi magic needed.

    Xavi Hernández

Top 3 CL contender is pushing it LB we are set with Alba & Balde CB we are also set with kounde, Araujo, Christensen. Only position we need to strengthen at the back is RB. In midfield DM. Up top a LF/LW, Torres is trash & we don't know what Fati will look like next summer. Strengthen those...

    Frenkie de Jong

Whatever they spend to improve areas they didn't improve this summer, they would have had to spend anyways to fill the other positions, So that's non sense.

    Frenkie de Jong

You were wrong, the club had no plenty of money to sign WHOEVER we wanted, we had a limited amount of money, were they had to balance the opportunity cost of each signing. Whoever we signed, their would have been holes left else where, $120m well spent, Xavi needs to do a lot better to...

Can please some of the people sometimes of the times, but you can't please all the people all the time. Same set of fans playing hindsight Sporting director now, are the same ones who were complaining we will only sign a much of pass it has beens, after selling out TV rights & a few of them...

    9 - Robert Lewandowski

We can all coulda woulda shoulda everything to death, no guarantees Auba plays as well over the course of a season has he did for a couple of months for us. Lewa was always a 2-3 year plan, it we get 1 or 2 league titles out of it, it's money well spent, it not then it's a waste too early to say.

    Xavi Hernández

Yea I did & your complaint was we used the 120m poorly, then you went on about Kounde at RB, I am highlighting that we didn't spend our money incorrectly, no one has this seemingly perfect transfer window that a few year seem to be wishing for. You then said no top coach would want this team...

    Xavi Hernández

"but also manage to squander the little money they have available to spend?" Yea you did say that.... Only money we wasted was Torres. Fans can complain like spoiled babies about how the likes of Kounde, Raphinha is being used & n how crap of a coach Xavi is, but that statement is false...

De bruyne is low key ass, not really but yea he doesn't step up when needed

    Xavi Hernández

Signing Kounde, including playing him at RB is the single best transfer we made in the summer and were it not for the signings of Pedri & Araujo he would be the single best signing the club has made over the past 3-4 years. Those who complain about him playing at RB have to under the question...

    Premier League 2022/2023

Getting the money to spend 100-150m isn't the issue, it's the wage build, we can't blow 100m on 1 player anymore, but as a club we can still find 100-150m, to spend some 2/3.

    Premier League 2022/2023

The ideal way to run a modern club, if you want to compete at the very highest level, is I'm sad to say Madrid, Bayern to a way lesser extent. Sign great players, pay them at most market rate or below, then sell them when they get to 30+ and want big money.

    Premier League 2022/2023

Not really they've been average for years, finally got some decent players, mixed with Youth & it's showing. Wasted 70m on the likes of pepe, that's not smart management, but these things happen.

How long as arteta been there now? They spent big on some transfer's and a couple of them are finally paying off after a few bust.

    11 - Raphinha

All is a bit of a stretch, don't fall for that line of thinking, Kounde makes perfect sense. Raphinha was a great market opportunity that we took, he only wanted us, when others came in for him. Lewa a bit too old, just for 2-3 years, more likey two if we play the right kind of football, he...

    11 - Raphinha

The team has zero identity, which Is affecting players like him, who excel with a set pattern of play, see leeds & Brazil, he knows his exact role in those teams. Still a great buy though, just needs time.
