    Mikel Merino

Inigo might lower his salary for his old club if he gets a longer contract too. A 2 year contract can better than 1 then retirement. I don't feel that Faye is Imanol type of defender, but I might be wrong.

    Nico Williams

My point is, he knows more than us whether we will close it or not. So when he says it it means he has information about it. You saying we won't close it, is just typical fan pessimism. Which is understandable considering the past few years.

Tebas isn't a guy reading the rumours in the press when it come to our finances, he has access to it. I is possibly we fail in it, sure. But it seems we at least have a plan, and it is starting to work, for now.

    Mikayil Faye

Seems like the Porto rumour is dead, fair play to the club considering it seems they lowballed us. Now, let's hope he proves haters wrong (which might include me )

    Ansu Fati (loaned to Monaco)

Him &, Lenglet most likely, possibly Eric too. And then a couple of loans going our way finalised at same day.

Well, Tebas himself said we are close to getting 1:1 this summer and can sign a player of Nico caliber. We also finally registered many of the existing contracts: Balde, Gavi and Araujo who didn't have the full contracts registered before are now has it fully, we registered Lamina and Cubarsi as...

Sarcasm aside, Tuchel is actually in the rumours along the U-21 coach

Klopp or Tuchel are the safest bets, but are they going to even consider it?

    England

Is it? Southgate has been by far the best manager they had in two decades at least, probably more. If you ignore the boredom, he actually elevated that team and was the first manager to understand they aren't some football giants they claim they are. It isn't like they are getting Klopp as...

Which player in his prime (active or retired) would fit prime Barca the most?

CR7 might be correct answer in that he improves us the most, but he takes rivalry out of equation. The Messi vs CR7 were arguably the greatest rivalry in history of sports and it fueled both teams and both players. Taking it out would have lead to more dominant side but less joy for everyone...

Which player in his prime (active or retired) would fit prime Barca the most?

Zambrotta was actually very good for us, especially on left side at which he was natural there. But at 30 we expected him to be the best FB in the world which was unfair back then. His wife wanted to go back to Italy and we saw an opportunity with Alves so we moved on smoothly, it was a win for...

Which player in his prime (active or retired) would fit prime Barca the most?

Yeah, Neuer is a good pick, good pick by @Andresito Ramos would have meant no Pique, Modric won't start over Xaviesta and same for Kroos, great players though. Marcelo or Lahm might be a good choice but Alba was great and Abidal provided something different early on. Attack was always stacked...

    Copa América 2024

Vinicius is getting it for sure. Since 2008, only Messi won it outside of RM players, and they have just won league + CL double and he was the star of the show. Copa will be meaningless in the race. Euro could have tilted the vote if an original contender won it (Bellingham or Mbappe) but this...

    Vitor Roque

What is SA? South America or Saudia Arabia? You use a lot of abbreviations that makes one feel he is reading puzzles at time, mate.

Olmo himself is injury prone, we aren't yet at the financial position of getting players just for upgrade rather than need.

Lionel "The Greatest of All Time" Messi V2

How many fans say "oh, Xavi was great, but he isn't a legend because he retired too late?" .

Lionel "The Greatest of All Time" Messi V2

People seriously need to chill about the whole retire on top. When it is over, no one cares if you have retired on top or was playing in Angola like Rivaldo. This is just a "Bonus" stage for legends, you can add few extra bonus titles/goals but nothing will take from your legacy anymore.

Lionel "The Greatest of All Time" Messi V2

Considering that "mistake" didn't affect Spain's legends legacy, or any legend for that matter, why shouldn't he do it? Retiring on high note is one of the most overrated thing, that only some fans care about, but don't even remember it layer.

    Jude Bellingham

I've been saying this for some time now. People try to over analyze RM success, but before hiring Ancelotti Perez 2nd term was essentially a Liga title and a CDR in 4 seasons. In the past 11 years there wasn't a full season without either Zidane and Ancelotti whom combined 6 CL and 4 Liga...

    Euro 2024

Spain should be adding more depth with Omorodion and Diao, along possible return for Gavi & Balde, a little growth from Nico and Lamine, a development from Cubarsi, maybe even a change of clubs for Torres will help. Porro should be integrated more too. Dare I say Simons might actually be...
