We have defensive coordinator and several assistants that aren't necessary seen on the bench. Flick and Deco actually assembled a very good technical team around the former.

His main issue is his ball carrying ability which is nonexistent, and we rely heavily on fullbacks to do it, at least with some progressive passes. He isn't awful for a backup in either defensive end, or at the attacking one third, but in the build up he is absolutely shit.
