Laporta's third term is pretty bad when it comes to scouting and transfers. Very hard to get a transfer right, that for sure would elevate our season and lead us to trophies, and on the cheap also.
Next year Madrid might get Alonso as manager plus some defensive reinforcements. Their attack might finnaly gel and that's that.

Thing is with him, he does most of the stuff right. But he's never clutch or leading the team. He's either injured or not good enough in the end.
