Bartra plays better than him AND plays against much better opponents. The only thing marquinhos has on him is experience at RB and from seeing Bartra this season having to play CB/RB thanks to Alves/Poor tata tactics, I can say he'd probably be fine as a Defensive RB.

I think what he meant was yes we do need another defender but Bartra is Barca quality and has proved that and having him as our starting CB isn't as bad as some make it out to be.
