I don't think he will have a good time at Madrid. He's talented and a joy to watch when he's on fire, but he also lack consistency, and this will be an issue for him in a club like Madrid that is already packed in midfield with more established stars than him.

The club need to look for a CB and a decent LB in this January or the next summer. I say we try for one between Hummels or Laporte. For the LB position I have no one particular in mind, because there is a strange drought of world class FBs in the world right now.

It's a bit of both I believe. He seem a bit disconnected from the rest of the team. Not that I didn't expected that. Hopefully the time resolve this.
