He's gonna get eaten alive by the Catalan press if he continues to fail. If the board doesn't sack him, the press will.

Will not work at all. You're basically getting rid of all midfield control by playing that formation. Busi/Masch/Messi can't control the flow of the passing game like Xavi and other top class mids in the world.

    10 - Lionel Messi - v3

It's absolutely amazing to me how Neymar and Suarez have absolutely no right to take any of the FK's. It's a good thing that it's not causing any chemistry problems between them.

By the time there is a new board Messi will be 29, Suarez 29, Neymar 24 (I think he is going to be the main star by 2016), and Iniesta 32. Unless there's some type of a magic turn around then there's no way Messi will thrive at that age since his playing style relies so much on his...

Yeah the Cesc/Alexis nostalgia is a bit overboard in this forum. Both players are playing well because THEY ARE IN A TEAM THAT SUITS THEIR PLAYING STYLE. Cesc basically occupied Messi's space and Alexis needs a free role to do any sort of damage. They are/will never fit in to Barca.

Only the mid is not good enough but we have a frontline and backline that most people wouldn't mind having. Pique would be a clear starter in many other teams.

Also another problem people in this board have is that they expect Messi to cop us out every single time. Expectations for Leo are way too high. The guy can't save us every single time anymore.

We can still win La Liga or Copa Del Rey since we can hammer lower sides but it's going to be a LONG time before we win another CL. It will probably happen after Messi, Xavi, Iniesta, and all of the old guard is gone.

There is no lineup consistency, which kills any formation of team chemistry. Mathieu was surprised to play as LB!! HOW CAN YOU HAVE A PLAYER SURPRISED GOING INTO AN EL CLASICO? I agree with others that are saying he is trying to be too radical like Pep was. It's not working out because Pep had...

    Barça Forum Prediction League 2014/15

Barca always comes back very strong after a loss, so I predict the same. Barca 6 Celta 1 Neymar (2), Messi (2), Suarez (1), Rakitic (1)

His career is a tragedy. Really sucks that he couldn't make it.

It's a double edged sword. Tata's coaching style puts a heavy emphasis on defense while Lucho is more offensive and likes Tiki Taka (albeit the Tito version of it).

I might get flamed for this but guys it's an end of an era just accept it. 90 % of the players in our team have won all prestigious trophies that you could win in the sport. They just don't have the hunger anymore like they did before. It's natural, in any sport actually. RM players will...

    1 - Marc-Andre ter Ansplant

This is hands down Lucho's biggest mistake so far with the team. Why in the world he is doing this I don't know. He is ruining the kids confidence and at the same time putting the team in jeopardy. He should just have the copa games until he feels confident enough to take on the CL games. We...

    Claudio Bravo

It's quite a feel good story that Bravo is doing so well here. Coming from Sociedad and not being at the spotlight at all, to being a very good WC keeper for Chile and signing for Barca.
