    9 - Robert Lewandowski

It makes sense to limit it to the modern era. The games was so different back then. It's way too long back to compare. The point about CR7 maintaining a great level for his age stands strong regardless.

Pretty sure neither me or you watched Puskas in action. I just don't pretend. I, like majority of Football fans ain't got a clue about Puskas or Di Stefano. Maybe our mate, Fati saw him in action but then I think even the old man isn't old enough. :satorra:

    9 - Robert Lewandowski

They all adopted their systems based on his strengths minimizing his weaknesses within the same institution called Barcelona where Messi was by far the most powerful figure. There's a reason why Barca haven't been able to hire a top top coach because no self respecting coach eould come to a...

Why? Which 37 year old scored more in the modern era??

    9 - Robert Lewandowski

Like Alex Ferguson said, Messi is a system player. Much more of a system player than Ronaldo anyways. Nothing wrong about it. In his peak he deserved the team to be built around him to maximize his strengths and minimize his weaknesses. He was just that good. Think even his fans will agree...

He's 37 and still scoring more than any 37 year old ever. One of the best goals per game in the best league itw playing for a dysfunctional toxic club.

I agree on the pressing and mentioned that myself a few posts above. Other than that, don't see any decline in Muller or Lewy.

It's Nagelsmann's bullcrap tactics in the last few months. Overcrowding the box with way too many players. Everybody coming in each other's way. I watch nearly every Bayern game

Neither him nor Muller have declined one bit since then.

    L. Muller was being phased out by Kovac and Lewandowski was still scoring for fun and singlehandedly carrying the club. A lot of Muller's low xG chances are converted by Lewy. It works both ways.

Lionel "The Greatest of All Time" Messi

Am I the only one who misses his chipped finishes? Young Messi used to chip goalkeepers with either foot all the time. As he got older the chip shots dried up. Very few and rare. Chip goals were great to watch

    9 - Robert Lewandowski

He doesn't press much anymore. Only presses when Muller(Bayern's pressing trigger-man) asks him to in specific situations like 3 times a game. Used to press more under Flick.

    9 - Robert Lewandowski

I'll watch a full Barca game and predict. Nedd to know what kinda attacking scenarios and situations you lot create.

    9 - Robert Lewandowski

KingLeo10 the reason I believe he'll thrive in any system is because he has the ability to score all kinds of goals. Be it headers, weak foot, volley, tough angles. He doesn't rely on particular kind of chances like getting in behind. He gets tap ins, run in behinds, cutbacks and everything...

    9 - Robert Lewandowski

I need to watch a full Barca game in it's current state to assess the kind of attacking scenarios created. Lewandowski will definitely take the penalties and direct free kicks on top of that.

If he comes to Barca, Imma make a poll about predicying the numbers he'll get. We'll see it there.

They can push all they want but Salah wants to stay in the PL. Max to max, he can join the Spanish giants. French league? No chance at this stage
