The funny thing about this forum is the 40 year old diehard Messi fans act way more immature than the supposed "kids" of the forum. It's legit impossible to have a mature argument with them. Messi plays one good game this season (not even good by his last season standards) and they're creaming...
I am saying it's better to have him on the pitch than Griez or Trincao. It is redundant to have both of them with Messi on the pitch. At least MB9 offers something new instead of having a Messi-Wish! version and a Dembele-light
Just hold coaching tryouts for RK, Setien, and Valverde. Each alternates between one match. The one who gets the most points gets a contract offer. It's the only true way to see who's better.
And what exactly did Griezmann or Trincao do? Tactically you are giving a huge break to the other team's defense with no true striker on the pitch. No runs to worry about and no headers from crosses to worry about. The Juve CB's don't have to do shit because all our players are too far from the box.
I will be patient but I am willing to bet that both Pedri and Puig will have a higher ceiling for Barca. FDJ is a system player. He would probably do really well in a team where he can have 2 DM's covering him.
I said before the match that since he's not starting we won't be scoring any goals or 1 at most. Look what happened? In the modern game you need a striker. Playing with two 10's is shooting yourself in the foot.
Ya for his own good and for ours it would've been best if he left. Just terrible what Barto did to this team. The guy should have security around him for the rest of his life. The consequences he had on this team could impact it for a decade.
No difference if you fire him today or at end of season. This team is done. Pimienta will still play Messi, Alba, Busquets, and Lenglet in case you are expecting some drastic squad changes.
