I believe Djokovic's dad was a pro skier. TBF there is an advantage to many sports for being rich. A lot of European footballers come from well off families (their parents are rich, their parents have some connection to FIFA/UEFA). It's not a tennis thing.

Serena and Venus grew up in Compton and their family was very blue collar. They are the exception yes but it's not so exclusively rich.
