    9 - Luis Suárez - v1

Suarez is not going to appeal the ban.

    Junior Hoilett

He's apparently holding out for an England call-up. I'm not sure how I feel about that.

    9 - Luis Suárez - v1

The reaction from Liverpool fans has been comical. They're desperately saying anything they can to avoid admitting what a joke the club looks like right now, but if anything, they're just digging a deeper hole for themselves.

    Andy Carroll

Na, Liverpool just had £50m in their pocket from the Torres deal and desperately needed a striker, quick. At the time, Carroll was banging them in, and he is also young, so all things considered, the deal didn't look half as bad then as it does now. Even now though, they lost Torres and gained...

    9 - Luis Suárez - v1

Actually, it's the Evra allegation that makes him look all the more guilty, and makes his use of the word look all the more suspect. If he had just admitted to using the word, with adding the context, he may well have gotten away with it.

    John Terry

Was Suarez heroic though? Terry made a game-defining clearance that earned Chelsea a point, Suarez by most accounts was firing blanks, despite all those t-shirts...

    9 - Luis Suárez - v1

Yes. He did. Suarez though claims that he was using the word endearingly, rather than as a slur. Admittedly the word is more commonly used in that way, but given the context, it's seems hard to believe that Suarez is telling the truth. He clearly said it in and aggressive manner, and by his own...

    9 - Luis Suárez - v1

A rouse? Suarez admitted to calling him negrito after Evra allegedly made a racial slur. All you need to do then, is watch the tape and decide whether you think negrito was used as a term of endearment, or more logically, another racial slur to answer Evra's. Liverpool have done a really good...

    John Terry

Uh, surely the difference is that Suarez was found guilty, and Terry is still under investigation. Innocent until proven guilty, no? This coming from someone who hopes he isn't allowed to play for England again if found guilty.

    9 - Luis Suárez - v1

According to Suarez, Evra called him a derogatory word for a South American, to which Suarez replied angrily (as seen on the video) "negrito", but instead of using it in a derogatory manner (which it can be used as), he used it in the more common, endearing manner. So, either his rather suspect...

Those t-shirts. Deary me. Embarrassing stuff from Liverpool.

    John Terry

Assuming he is found guilty, hopefully Capello will not call him up.

    9 - Luis Suárez - v1

I'm not sure how many times this needs explaining, but the FA will not be responsible for find either guilty or innocent. The Suarez case was dealt with by an independent commission, and the Terry incidence is being dealt with by the police. All the FA do, is decide what the punishment is going...

    9 - Luis Suárez - v1

How is it relevant? It's not against the rules to hold racist views, it's against the rules to racially abuse someone.

    9 - Luis Suárez - v1

Based on what? Your position is completely irrational. You have zero evidence to suggest that he is innocent, while an independent commission has found him guilty, NOT the FA.

Sickening that people are defending this little scum bag. It's a shame he wasn't banned from the EPL, and yes, if found guilty I'd say the same of Terry.
