It's not a compliment, they add that tag because they know consumers want to support British farmers, that's all. I've never seen it attached to anything other than foodstuffs, personally.
I'm not sure I agree about patriotism in the UK. If anything I'd say patriotism became tied to nationalism and so we've shied away from it more and more over the years. 2012 I think was probably a bit of an aberration, what with the Royal Wedding, Queen's Jubilee and the Olympics coming all in...

GOOD NEWS: Arsenal to unveil 3 new wonderkid signings - Julio Selva (Barca), Dan Crowley (A.Villa) & Yaya Sanogo (Auxerre) in next few days.

Southampton - 60.5%
West Ham United - 51.4%
Tottenham Hotspur - 50.0%
Sunderland - 48.4%
Liverpool - 44.1%
Queens Park Rangers - 41.7%
Stoke City - 41.4%
Aston Villa - 40.6%...

Didn't Spain once threaten to remove Real Madrid and Barcelona from European competitions if Gibraltar was ever allowed into UEFA? Looks like their bluff has been called.
I don't see how they can conscionably be denied when places like the Faroe Islands already have representation. Wonder what the reaction in Spain would be like.
It could get a lot bigger than it is now if it didn't have a salary cap. Imagine all the stars on their way out that would go over there for massive wages.
Indeed. Liverpool have been a match for most of the big teams, if not out played them. Plus don't forget that this isn't his squad yet, it's a squad in transition both in personnel and style. Next season will be the real test.
