If you have a buy-back clause on Morrison you should activate it. Calmed down a lot now and had been putting in some very classy performances for Birmingham. Tearing it up in pre-season for West Ham too apparently.
Barcelona (or any football club) is not a charity, they did not train Thiago out of the goodness of their hearts, they did so purely out of self-interest. I don't see how anyone can turn around and then condemn Thiago for doing the same.
Based on what though? The fact that last season he scored less than the one before? Not much of a trend, especially when he scored 34 in 44 the season before last.
If United are so rich and can continuously buy the top players, how come they never do any more? Who was the last world class player United bought? RVP at a stretch? Who before that? It's Fergie that kept United at the top, not the size of the club.
It is something new. When he was at United most United fans would tell you that Morrison was the better of the two. He's talented though don't get me wrong, but likening him to Thiago in terms of ability is going way overboard IMO.
