Well my mistake if i made it sound too extreme. I'm not bagging Silva, he's an incredible player and one of the best in the EPL when he's on form.

no he's MUCH better than Silva. More consistent, better touch, younger, faster, better vision, more flair, better set pieces and free kicks, etc. The only thing Silva is better than Mata at is being a more agile and controlled dribbler. I love Silva but Mata is simply better.

Mata is seriously one of the best in the world right now imo. Young, elegant, and Chelsea's best player. Didn't he go to college?

Well i doubt we would keep Valdes JUST to teach the new GK. It's just that it'll take some time for the new goalkeeper to adjust and adapt so we will have to slowly integrate him by playing him in smaller games and rotating him first. We can't just buy a GK, teach him how to pass, and stick him...

He's extremely young but if we buy him now we can definitely teach him to adapt for the next year or so while valdes is still here. Plus the only other players in our squad with such flamboyant hair are Pinto and Tarzan.

Well since he's extremely young and the talent and potential is there, we can mold him into our ideal CB. Although we would have to loan him out for a few years most likely.

It's not that he's actually horrible, it's that every person in the world who is not a barcelona fan thinks he is the worst goalkeeper on the planet. Seriously i've seen people make jokes that all the Real Madrid players will be sad that Valdes is leaving because it'll be harder to score.

He'll get plenty of time once we've mathematically won la liga. Plus it's not like we'd be at risk of ending an invincible season since we've already lost to Sociedad.

Dear lord not Reina. He might only be 31 but that is basically in his prime and within 5 years he'll be old. Not to mention the fact that he is horrible even in his prime. If he's barely first choice at LIVERPOOL how the hell can he be a first choice candidate at Barcelona.
