We've been linked to him recently. I can't say that the rumors are believable or possible but I'd rather have an Ajax graduate like him than Neymar. His loyal and respectful behavior towards Ajax has been admirable. Wherever he does end up, he's destined to have a bright career!

in terms of style, i.e dribbling, vision for passes and assists, playmaker rather than goalscorer. It's near impossible for him to reach Iniesta's level of talent but the similar style is there.

Mata is pretty clutch as well. He has played in 3 cup finals in his entire career so far and scored or assisted in every one of them. Assisted and won MOTM in the FA cup final. Assisted the equalizer in the CL final. Scored in the Euro 2012 Final even though he played for less than 10 minutes total.

How so? If anything Mata is a more direct, attacking version of Iniesta.

Bielsa might want to use him to slightly improve the remainder of the season for Athletic.

If Ondoa really does have talent, then training and progressing in the youth teams for a few more years can only do him good. At age 17 he still needs to develop. He'll have his chance in the first team if he is good enough.

Well Cuenca is like Iniesta in that respect. He can do for the right side what Iniesta did to the left.

Plus Alexis and Tello primarily are played on the left along with Iniesta and Villa. This leaves only Pedro and Cuenca on the right. Obviously most of our wingers are adept at either side but Cuenca has played much more on the right and he can rotate with Pedro.

Courtois is somewhat overrated in my opinion. Doesn't have a great save percentage and his positioning is somewhat off. I mean obviously he's very young so he'll fix it eventually but he doesn't seem as solid and commanding as ter Stegen or the reflexes of Perin. Plus both of them have much more...

I wish Barcelona would show more interest in Perin or ter Stegen rather than Courtois or Reina.
