Iniesta has definitely proved to be much better than CR this season. Every match is literally a magic show from El Ilusionista AND he's leading europe in assists on that left wing. IMO he's better than Laudrup or Zidane but not many would agree with me on that.

Iniesta doesn't track back a lot either. I can understand why Iniesta is higher in the pecking order (obviously) but I don't get why Villa is getting such little playing time.

There is no point in trying to label the positions of most of our players. They all wander and move around so much that you can't recognize exactly where they are playing.

He's slow but when he plays on the wing he doesn't wander much. Plus his main role when he is there is to link up and provide a killer pass to either Iniesta, Pedro, Messi, or an overlapping Alves.

Despite the fact that he works hard and performs well throughout a match, he still is a huge liability. All it takes is one of his massive errors for the opposing team to capitalize and score a goal. And these errors are so huge that conceding is pretty much guaranteed. His positioning is off...
