Impressed with your objectivity. I thought you'd give Flick a hard time because of your thing with Xavi. Respect.

    9 - Robert Lewandowski

Back to the actual topic, I believe Lewy should have converted atleast one of his chances. Poor finishing by him even though the goalkeeper was on fire.

Tbf there's no thread to discuss CR7 topics anymore...... Where's a CR7 fan like Fati supposed to post CR7 content?

Fair enough. The masses love drama. Football fans are very emotional.

    9 - Robert Lewandowski

Very tough headers which most strikers would struggle to score. He makes headers look ridiculously simple. It was in a clutch moment when they needed him to produce something special.

    9 - Robert Lewandowski

Fair enough. My point is it impresses many people. Sport is entertnement at the end of the day. Many NBA stars do these things too.

    9 - Robert Lewandowski

Iconic. He's great on camera. People don't realise that he's very good at presenting himself on camera. He has that main guy energy which is why he has so many fans. Maradona37 this celebration looks very cool and badass for instance. PS: Love the prisoner Michael Scott profile picture of...

    9 - Robert Lewandowski

Neither of them have actual charisma. It's just that one has more social skills, confidence and is way more candid than the other......which is all we get to see. For all we know, Messi might be James Bond behind closed doors.

I used to think he's a Messi fan.

    9 - Robert Lewandowski

True. The point is Ronaldo's interviews and media appearances are better, more interesting and encouraging. Who knows if they are intelligent behind closed doors........ I think we can agree on this.

    9 - Robert Lewandowski

I think at the end of the day, it's a pointless discussion. Messi inspires kids in his own way: with his game and humble behaviour. While Ronaldo inspires people with his goals, passion and interviews. Messi is great at his actual job so it doesn't matter that he's not good in the media.

    9 - Robert Lewandowski

He has hundreds of weird moments on camera where he behaves like he has zero social skills and behaves very weirdly. Again, it's not his job so I don't blame him. But it is what it is.

    9 - Robert Lewandowski

TempFan's point was about them as role models. We can only judge them on what we see in the public domain. CR7 is better at giving interviews and confidently presenting himself on camera. We don't know them personally behind closed doors. Like I say, it's not Messi's job to be a...

    9 - Robert Lewandowski

I don't think he's intelligent and eloquent either but he's more so than Messi off the pitch. Is that even a debate?

    9 - Robert Lewandowski

Ronaldo's intelligence, personality, charisma and looks can be up for debate but there's zero doubt that he smokes Messi in these categories easily. But Messi is more well behaved and humble in the public domain. I will give you that. That sets a good example for kids unlike CR7. Credit where...

    9 - Robert Lewandowski

Messi is a charisma black hole but looks are irrelevant for role models. Agree that Ronaldo is far more eloquent and intelligent off the pitch but he does have some controversies too. Another thing is his narcissism which can be harmful for kids who have achieved nothing. Ronaldo can talk...
