The only sub-par performance I can think of came right after he was injured for a few weeks and slotted in as CM in Iniesta's role, and even that was part of an overall letdown from the entire team.

On a serious note though, he's always been seen as our top forward prospect. It's clear Lucho sees him that way as well, which is why he's so much more preferred than Sandro. In La Masia the difference in quality and potential was clear and I still think Munir can develop into a decent player...

I dunno why, but when I read the lineup and realized it was Lucho's rotated squad, I burst out laughing when I saw the only rotation Bartra got was going from the stands to the bench.

Either one developing into a quality player if actually given playing time in their preferred position is still very much in the realm of possibilities. It'd be too hasty to get rid of both of them.

I'd prefer Suarez but eh I don't mind Nolito. At 29 years old he'll kind of be useless to us in a season or two though so bringing Suarez back in the summer should still be a priority.

Nolito is at the point in his career where being 4th forward here would be the best move he could possibly make, even if it does mean lengthy spells on the bench.

Does he have a shot of being our B team's first choice in the coming years? He's the one who pulled out all those penalty saves and then scored the winner, right? It'd be great to see him actually make the grade as a professional one day.
