If Mats isn't fit and Cillessen has signed I'd still play Masip. He's more familiar with the Barca way of playing and isn't one to make mistakes.
Although I really hope Mats is fit. Finally seeing him start a game for us without it being as a fill in for Bravo will be great to see.
Whoa, what a goal.
I'm starting to think he might really turn into something special. We might reach a point where we have to find a way to fit this kid in no matter what, one day.
Or we'd get a player willing to fill in whenever needed who isn't a dramatic downgrade to our starting keeper. Cillessen is a logical downgrade from Mats that is much more in line with the step down most teams have from their keepers.
Your credentials are not determined by whether or not you...
Lol what? Are we still forcing that narrative that even with Bravo gone playing Mats is a risk and a potential sacrifice to our results?
Cillessen will probably play more than just CDR, I agree, but there's no way he'll be real competition for Mats in the long run, nevermind the one Mats gets...
How long are you going to torture us with that profile pic? It's like you have a bad one, get one that's good for a short time, and then make things SO MUCH WORSE.
OT: He should be fit to play next week, lol
If Thiago didn't go to Bayern he'd have gone somewhere else. The board wanted him gone and made sure to drop his release clause just to sell him and the player himself along with his father were desperate to get out. You're more upset about Pep leaving than taking Thiago.
Claudio turned down a...
Iniesta, Arda, and Denis are better on the left, and Rakitic, Gomes, and Rafinha (Yeah he still exists whether anyone likes to admit it or not) are either better for the right or will usually end up there (In the case of Rafa).
You really have no clue.
In England you can get a professional contract at 16, while in Spain you have to wait until 18. They didn't "Outcash" us by any means, they just took advantage of one of Spain's many ass backwards rules on contracts. Stopping our players from leaving at 16 to go to...
Having one goalkeeper able to play both competitions at the height of his level is better than having one keeper playing our most important games without match rhythm while the other hogs the majority of the minutes whether he needs them or not.
If Lucho and Unzue want him I'm more than willing to reserve judgement. The Claudio Bravo that was brought in was nowhere near Barca level, and we all see how he turned out. I'm sure Unzue can get the best out of this guy and make him be the best that he can be.
The circumstances for selling Hart compared to Bravo are not the same. Hart is going to an English club and as an English player he has incredible value due to some weird homegrown player rule I admittedly am not completely familiar with. Bravo on the other hand is older and outside of the lens...
