    Gerard Deulofeu

There's no "forcing" a spot in a team unless you get adequate chances to show what you're capable of. A player can impress in training, but it's bullshit to think that managers automatically feel more confident picking a player after only seeing him do better and work harder in training. They...

    Thiago Translantara

Isco is quite likely to get a spot in the NT if he keeps playing like this for Madrid, and with call-ups throughout the year Del Bosque will get a good feel for how to use him. Illarramendi is a big maybe. VDB might finally see that it's time to kiss Alonso goodbye, but his backup options for...

    Best flank in world football

Ribery and Alaba with ease, their connection and attacking threat is mindblowing. Although Iniesta+Alba last season was even more orgasmic in the 1st half when Iniesta was on the wing. It's sad that they've both started off in poor form this season, Neymar+Alba+Iniesta would be unstoppable at...

    Celta Vigo

Celta were the superior side, but it could've gone the other way. Betis looked much more tamed this game because Celta were more organized and didn't let too many loose chances through.

    Celta Vigo

Wow, Celta with a convincing 2-1 win vs the same Betis side that nearly screwed over Real Madrid just a week ago. Charles and Nolito both scored, and both look like class signings that'll easily replace the loss of Aspas.

    Thiago Translantara

This, it's his decision and while the rationality is questionable it isn't something to constantly harass him for. We lost a great player, he lost a great chance. It sucks, but move on.

    Atlético Madrid

5-0 win vs Rayo today, great game. Costa has taken on the role of being Atletico's lead goal scorer with 3 goals in 2 games so far, luckily they even have Leo and Villa to add a lot themselves and not leave only one player with the scoring duties. Arda looked class again today, he's really...

    Alexis Sanchez

Shit at dribbling, but he was still very useful today and should be credited for that. His positive qualities should be appreciated because what he adds is very beneficial, sure he isn't a flashy dribbler or a cannon of a shot, but he is still a player that we're better off having.

    Definition of Adriano right there

    Thiago Translantara

Damn.... This injury could affect him pretty bad. He isn't pace-reliant or anything but he likes cutting or using quick footwork/passes that will be difficult if he gets a stiff ankle. Hopefully he has a good recovery and stops getting injuries like this.

    Gareth Bale

You're absolutely right about this, except the fact is that the description is of seasons past under Mourinho who misused half his squad and never was able to get them to gel. Under Ancelotti so far that is different, even Pepe has looked like a very stable and solid defender. In the coming...

    Gareth Bale

Not really, ours is worse and more importantly, more exposed when the two teams meet.

    La Liga 2013/2014

Based off last season, yes. However Athletic is getting the very best out of him right now and the team will likely finish very high on the table this season.

    Everton

I understand the value of teaching him humility and hard work earns his playing time, but I feel like learning to change/adapt his behavior and style on the pitch is more important and will ultimately help him fix his mentality and develop as a player. We only have one season for this loan deal...

Joan Roman makes it 1-0 vs Lugo, great goal

    Liverpool

Oscar has a tendency to go invisible and he doesn't have many brilliant qualities (off the ball he's great though). He's a very good player, but Coutinho is just purely better, definitely deserves to be playing for Brazil. He'd probably help Lucas/Neymar wreak havoc with his passes and linkup.

    Liverpool

1-0 Sturridge Hope Aspas scores today. Coutinho is such a tricky player, miles better than Oscar IMO and with insane creativity

    Gerard Deulofeu

Starting to think a liga team would've been better for him. Other loanees like Rafinha, Suso, or Saul have all had loads of consideration from their respective clubs and had great starts. Deulofeu could've been better off going to Sevilla, Celta, or perhaps Betis.
  19. DonAndres

    Thiago Translantara

They were playing well down the wings with Thiago on as well. The thing Muller provided was better forward movement to create attacking chances or space, the directness came with standard late-match urgency and better finishing.
