That's because he plays LM for Atletico when he comes on often, if you see him for Spanish youth setups he is always the orchestrator. His dribbling is more brilliant on the wing, but in the center is where you see him control things like a true maestro.- DonAndres

Subbed in for Boateng but played CM. The moment he came on, entire game changed to go Bayern's way and their rhythm started clicking. Kroos is a great engine but Thiago was the creative orchestrator of Bayern really dominating in their play. -
