I doubt Valencia would challenge them much, and Athletic are currently 1-0 down to Celta so it's unsure if we'll continue. Madrid-Atletico is now a very exciting and competitive tie so I'd look forward to it. -

Roberto may be a "safer" player than Thiago but he has far less to offer. Thiago played pretty well when he got minutes, controlled games and he was good going forward as well. -

I'm sure that they'd select him no matter what, I just hope he doesn't choose to go there. A lot of players go to Madrid despite it being glaringly obvious that they shouldn't, we'll see if Suarez follows suit in that tradition. -

Interesting, I don't think pressuring him to make a decision would work in favor of Gladbach. We'll know fairly soon what his answer is and that'll allow our board to focus on signing other necessary players (that is, if they choose to sign anyone :lol:) -

He's never been a good LB and yes, he occasionally does make errors but coming from someone who's watched every Athletic game this season he is very consistent for such a young player (most of his errors were at the beginning of the season if at all). Varane at his peak was unbelievable but... -

Neymar has done more and is more developed than Gotze, but I wouldn't dare say he's a bigger talent. Both are around equal in terms of potential IMO- DonAndres
