    Yeah I hate it mate, this obsession with individual awards. I wouldn't go as far as 'meaningless' before, but it didn't mean much at all and now it honestly feels like Gen Z kid players would rather win this stupid award than the fucking World Cup. It's ridiculous. I hate this award.

    Hopefully he (or Raphinha) beat Ronaldo's 17 goal record season from 2014. Lots of Ronaldo's goals that season were stat padding and meaningless anyway, whereas Lewy is actually scoring crucial goals. If he does though people will just say he had two more games to do it in. Fuck those people.

    Yeah his all-round game is generally hit and miss (though appears to be stabilising as the season goes on), but you cannot argue with his numbers. And, to be fair, many of his goals are important goals.

    It doesn't matter. The job is done and the team is 99.9 percent through. Lewy will be happy with his brace, and if it allows him to perform better in future games (because he got a little more rest), then happy days.
