    Timo Werner

This kid looks the real deal. Should be keeping an eye on him as Suarez's long term replacement.

    Neymar Jr. - v5

It's embarrassing that PSG didn't even exist until the 1970s.

    Neymar Jr. - v5

They need a bigger ground for starters. The top clubs in Europe have iconic grounds.

    10 - Lionel Messi - v5

It's De Stefano/Kubala all over again where everything goes the way of one player. Real could win 5 CL in a row too at this rate.

    Bojan Krkić

One of the best signings that season at least. Stoke were playing the best football they've played in the Prem by a mile at that time and he was the key player. They dropped off badly after his injury and have never recaptured that.

    10 - Lionel Messi - v5

It really is tragic. At this point Argentina would do well to just qualify. Ronaldo will probably edge ahead 6-5 next year and there's the prospect of a 3rd CL title in a row (5-4 over Messi) or Portugal winning the World Cup. Either of these happen and the Ballon D'or is his. That then sets...

    Bojan Krkić

A shame he got that ACL at Stoke. He was one of the stars of the Premier League season at that point. Would have got a move to a top club at the end of the season if he'd kept that form and avoided the injury, Hasn't really recovered from that.

    Gonzalo Higuain

CL semi in 2011 and 2012.

    Hatem Ben Arfa

Well you wouldn't start him in big games. He could come off the bench as an impact sub or start against some of the lesser sides. As a short term signing it'd make sense. I wouldn't give him a good contract to milk us for years like Turan who offers nothing anyway.

    Hatem Ben Arfa

Ben Arfa, Balotelli are the type of players who tend to well initially at a club but then go off the boil. Ben Arfa is more than good enough for Barca though. It'd be someone other than Messi who can actually create chances and do something with the ball.

    Kylian Muppet

Depends on the draw. You can get to the semis without playing anyone good, or you can draw Barca or Juve in the last 16 and then Real in the quarters.

Mbappe will be a future Ballon D'or winner if he stays relatively injury free. And he's only 18. Neymar turns 26 this season and Brazilian forwards tend to burn out quicker. I think he needs to win it in his 20s. To do that he needs to star in a World Cup win for Brazil or be the star for PSG...

    Rafinha Alcantara

He's a crock. He's had serious injuries like ACL as well which are tough to recover fully from. I don't think he was ever going to be first XI Barca quality anyway unlike his brother. He could have been a good squad player but injuries have killed it. A bit like Afellay.

He should have been flogged to China last year for big money.

    Paulinho

He just has a manager in Tite that gets the best out of him with Corinthians and Brazil. With this board you can't trust he's been bought for the right reasons.

    10 - Lionel Messi - v5

It's clear as day, it's like fatalism now. Messi's legacy is still there because of what he did in his 20s but he's not going to achieve much more and what Ronaldo will achieve in his 30s will cement his legacy further. What can Messi possibly achieve with this Argentine and Barca side...

    10 - Lionel Messi - v5

It's so sad that future generations will have the narrative set to Ronaldo over Messi. Ronaldo will win more Ballon D'ors, probably more Champions Leagues (hard to see Messi winning any more which means no more B'dor), will break the record for international goals and won a trophy with Portugal...

    11 - Ousmane Dembélé - V1

He needs to start well. Messi needs to know he's at least got something to work with this season.

    10 - Lionel Messi - v5

Full backs do impede Argentina a lot, a bit like with Belgium in recent tournaments. There's nobody to overlap and Messi just gets crowded out the game. Alves was always vital for Messi. As for Argentina's midfield, it's no better than Barcelona's. Pure mediocre. For club and country all Messi...
