It was but a year or too later and he would have been in the team without question. Brazil won the World Cup in 94 so have never looked back and regretted not bringing Ronaldo on.

Yeah I think my maths were wrong. Ronaldo's only equals at 17/18 were Maradona and Pele. Shame for him the 94 World Cup came just too soon for him as he was 17 and Romario the main man (a bit like Messi in 2006).

He's the closest i've seen to them at that age. Ronaldo was still in Brazil at 18.

    Neymar Jr. - v5

I don't think he's got the mentality to be the best and certainly hasn't got the mentality to stay the best. Robinho could be another comparison. Starred in Brazil as a youngster, signed for Real Madrid, did well enough without ever setting the world on fire. Left to a new money club and faded...

    10 - Lionel Messi - v5

I don't want Messi to go but by staying he'll waste the last good years of his career. It's going to take a few years to rebuild this Barca side into CL contenders again and then it's dependent on the board buying the right players. Then you've got Pique, Suarez, Masch and Iniesta all over 30...

    10 - Lionel Messi - v5

I think for him he needs to leave. It's not fair on him to carry the team for the rest of his good years with next to no chance of another CL and continue to miss out on ballon d'or as a result and ruin his legacy. It's sad to watch Barca now. This board have failed him by letting the team go to...

    Neymar Jr. - v5

He'll end up at Real to replace Penaldo in a couple of years.

    Luis Suárez

The only positive if Messi goes is Suarez can be flogged too. The nightmare scenario at the moment is going from a peak MSN to next season a washed up Suarez leading the attack.

    Luis Suárez

I made this point when he signed a new deal that we can't expect 4 or 5 great years but we're not efficient enough to sell him after 2 or 3 seasons for big money (after getting his best years) and will instead have to pay him world class money when he's physically done. We will insist on...

Lliga | Round 11: FC Barcelona - Sevilla FC 2-1

Weakest Barca side to win the league if we manage to this season? We're dogshit. So little fluency.

    10 - Lionel Messi - v5

The total crap around him doesn't help. he has to do everything himself which makes him easier to defend against.

Lliga | Round 11: FC Barcelona - Sevilla FC 2-1

Terrible again. So many cracks being papered over. This team just look lost. Suarez is killing us.

    Champions League 2017/18

Barca need to win the group. Most of the group winners would knock us out. It's heartbreaking how far behind we've fallen from shocking decisions and recruitment. At least Real can bounce back and challenge again for the CL when the knockouts come.

    Champions League 2017/18

Dortmund, Atleti and Monaco have declined ridiculously from last season. Barca's decline has been more gradual at least.

    Champions League 2017/18

It's like when Liverpool thrashed them under Benitez. They can afford this though because it's a group stage game and they'll still go through. Same way they could afford to be well beaten in bloody Wolfsburg.

    Champions League 2017/18

It's wide open. The usual suspects all look poor this season (Real, Barca, Bayern, Atleti who have dominated the semis). Dortmund and Monaco won't even get out the group. It opens it up for English teams to go far and PSG too. Never underestimate Real's luck though.

    Champions League 2017/18

We're too shit to laugh at them. Can't even beat a mid table Greek team. We'll lose in Turin and then have to play off with Sporting just to go through. Pathetico out.

    Champions League 2017/18

Spanish teams in decline. Premier League will dominate again like 10 years ago. Real still got more CL titles in them with Penaldo because of how lucky he is.

    Champions League 2017/18

We can laugh but they'll still go through thanks to Dortmund's ineptness and it's not like Barca have any chance of winning the CL. These lucky cunts are still favourites. A last 16 tie against Basle or someone. Alli, Poch and co putting themselves in the shop window for Real.

    Luis Suárez

At the point now where I want him to bite someone so he won't play anymore because he's not getting dropped. He's just killing the attack.
