    Worst Transfer Sagas

In honor of ter Stegen's secret game these past few weeks, I thought: why not have a thread to discuss the worst sagas? In recent times the worst ones for me are: Neymar to Barca, Hazard to Chelsea, and Cesc to Barca.

    Juan Guillermo Cuadrado

Disagree. Bartra's linkup and footwork just doesn't seem like that of a fullback at all. You could use the same cookie-cutter analysis to say that Pique or Luiz could go to be a "defensive RB", but in reality they do not have the profile for it. Bartra is fit for the CB role. He's not stable...

I heard Barcelona among a bunch of German words... What is he saying?

Not even 1/5 as bad. The Neymar saga was legendary.

Any idea when he'll come on?

    FC Barcelona B (Barça Atlètic)

Should have been a definite penalty. Goalkeeper fucking rugby tackled Munir. What kind of bullshit refereeing was that?!?!?

    FC Barcelona B (Barça Atlètic)

What an insane dribble by Adama. Starts with a roulette and then beats like 5 guys?

    FC Barcelona B (Barça Atlètic)

And a bullshit error makes it 2-1 to Sabadell

It makes me happy that any time Grimaldo crosses, it's always a low ball :D

GOL Dongou after an Adama assist. Should've started in the first place.

    FC Barcelona B (Barça Atlètic)

Team not doing well vs. Sabadell. Eusebio chose to play 4 midfielders, Dongou on RW, and left the likes of Denis, Adama, and Samper on the bench... Without Adama there is absolutely no width and we are crowded out in the center. Without Denis our only attacker skilled in passing is Munir.

    Gerard Deulofeu

Wouldn't have said so until his wasted year at Everton. Adama's the more effective and consistent dribbler, Munir has a far better shot. We'll see though, as nothing can be written in stone. A year ago, saying this would've been met with quite a few raised eyebrows. It's very possible that a...

    Luis Enrique

For the record, I personally am going to reserve opinionated judgement until an entire season passes and I believe everyone should do the same. No need to jump the gun on a guy who hasn't even shown what he's got here. I'd like to reiterate that what I've said indicates Lucho's potentialities...

Transfers and Rumours - old thread

My mistake  yeah Keylor is one I've read about that would be smart and very doable. Shaqiri, ehhhh.

Transfers and Rumours - old thread

That's the point. Reina's wages are huge, Mangala is going to City probably, Soldado is iffy, Negredo is unlikely to leave, Giroud is poor, Sosa isn't special, and Navas won't leave. Out of all of them, Firmino is the only one that I could consider to be shrewd, quality, and likely. There...

Transfers and Rumours - old thread

Would be a stupid decision. They've reportedly closed a deal for Angel Correa but he's only 19 so no reliability there yet. Others I've heard are Soldado, Torres, and Giroud. For a team as high caliber as Atletico are right now there aren't many transfer rumors of who they are interested in...

    Daniel Alves

 Xavi with a floater, Song with a bicycle (wtf! surprised he has that skill level), and overall the intensity of a highschool football training session. They look like they're there for play more than work (I know it's a 'special' training session with the youth players, but even then there...

    Luis Enrique

Well it's an inflated and romanticized version of the truth. Lucho's base is in passing and ground play, but he's more pragmatic than the 100% romanticist that is Pep. At Celta his side is very, very balanced even if not that high in quality (balance which is the foil to Pep's "control"). The...

    Jonathan Soriano

Great, instinctive goalscorer. If he were to come he wouldn't play a big role at Barca but with the amount he scores he has the potential to be a very shrewd signing. I'd be open to it, but mostly I just want to see how he'd do in a challenging league even if he didn't come here.
