    He signed in 2014, came good at the business end of 2014/15 after missing half of that season. Played well most of 2015/16. Has been shit mostly ever since. We haven't had the player Liverpool did. Like Neymar he won't go down as a Barca great. Neymar might at least get and take a second chance...

    Messi needs a proper advanced role in the next game. If Fernandinho and Casmeiro are out then he's got to exploit the space but Brazil will happily foul him on the halfway line all game if need to. Play him where he can affect the game.

    He's got too much ground to catch up. Drop Aguero, bring in Dybala and play Messi in Aguero's role. Honestly you might as well have Messi on the bench than using him as a quarter back and bring in someone who can cover the ground. He's easily marked out the game.
