    Yeah I read the whole reason for the lowering of the clause is in case he wanted to go, they can get a good price for a player of his quality and such. I hope he can score some goals for us, Willian is good but he really needs to be a bigger goal threat.

    I agree, but some players just go to big sides to win medals. Oh well, I'm not going to complain, we've got one of the best keepers in the league as a replacement for one of the best keepers in the league/Europe. :D

    Well, money first of all, and then even if he doesn't play a big part in it, he'll potentially have a bunch of winners medals. I believe he's 28, so say he stays at Chelsea for 4 years, he could accumulate some decent team honours and then leave at 32 and play regularly until he retires.

    You guys know much about Chile midfielder Charles Araguiz? Chelsea are trying to sign him, apparently we've bid £16m. Supposedly it's already been accepted and we're discussing terms with him.

    Yup he's going to join us for £8m. Makes me happy to know we got a very good backup keeper. :) Van Ginkel joins Stoke on loan as part of the deal. Awesome, get to see him in the EPL this time, hopefully playing regularly.

    Poor Messi, hopes for national success are slowly fading away. I'd say he has 2 more realistic chances at the next WC and Copa, after that it'd be a stretch. He might still be good enough to be a sub later on but would have to really hope the Argentina squad is pretty awesome as a whole.
