    FC Barcelona B (Barça Atlètic)

It's just to say, that they'd be too much players. Imagine most of those players don't leave. So I don't think we'd need 3 defenders. If we'd get Luiz and ter Stegen (next year) and Casasola and one of Torres or Suarez for the B team, it'd be perfect. We could get Vergini for a year though.

    FC Barcelona B (Barça Atlètic)

Next Year could see an overkill of talent in the squad: If we get: Marc-André ter Stegen, Pepe Reina, David Luiz, Santiago Vergini, Tiago Casasola and Óliver Torres/Denís Suárez (+6/7 players) Xavi and Puyol retire (-2 players) and we let go of: Dos Santos, Fabregas, Pique, Alexis, Pedro...

    Cesc Fàbregas

    Don't think Dortmund would sell.

Transfers and Rumours - old thread

Apparently he's not bad, played with the team that knocked Spain out of the U20 World Cup.

Transfers and Rumours - old thread

I've been watching him for over 2 years now. Probably does have to control his temper and concentration (and the will to go forward too much), but I like his drive.

    David Luiz

    According to Tancredi Palmeri:

    Thiago Translantara

This. He's a Bayern player. If he succeeds, well good for him. Stop hating. I just hope he doesn't cause another Cesc saga in the future.

    Are Sky Italy/their reporters reliable?
  9. E

    David Luiz

    Maybe he might.

Transfers and Rumours - old thread

Every time I've seen him (don't do that often) he's been a real leader. Haven't really gotten why people say he's not good (probably something I don't know...).

    Gerardo "Tata" Martino

<Relieved>. Maybe they'd give him another spot in the club?

    Marc Bartra

    This. Just have patience.

    FC Barcelona Tactics

Even if they don't play with a libero, they can at least have some defensive tactics in place. Tactics that are specifically made for defenders, not for the whole team. Here's the thing: the CB is a sort of goal keeper on the field (so to say). They have to communicate with the players in front...

    Santiago Vergini

Sorry for the constant OT, but Mascherano is accustomed to having someone at the back of him if players get past him. That's the biggest difference between a DM and a CB. The mentality of a CB is that no body can get past him and he'll do everything to not let it happen (the Puyol, Kompany...

    Santiago Vergini

Seriously doubt he can stay at CB if he stays in Barcelona.

    Sergi Roberto

Fàbregas, Xavi, Iniesta, Song, Mascherano, Busquets, Roberto, Samper *B and Espinosa *B 9 players for 3-5 positions with good rotation? Sounds about right.
  17. E

    Marc Bartra

We'll have to wait and see. The next game will be revealing. I like Sergi Gomez as CB but it seems I'm the only one. Anyway, imagine this defence for 2014-2015: CBs: Bartra Santiago Vergini/Matheus Dória Tiago Casasola Sergi Gómez Edgar Ié Frank Bagnack *B Fullbacks: Martín Montoya Alba...

    Martin Montoya

    Yeah, right?
  19. E

    Sergi Roberto

The whole B team was better (they've played a match before this one), except for Nieto, who was a bit lost at times (he'll need a bit of time).
  20. E

    Marc Bartra

It was also the first match of the preseason, which is actually the match with which they have to regain their stamina (matches like against Gdank ...). Give him time.
