    Pep Guardiola

:worthy: At the very least, we have to cut off all and any ties to Pep until the next election in 2016.

    Thiago Translantara

AS reported yesterday that Real Sociedad is interested in purchasing him for 3M.

    Cesc is though.

Probably both. Song can add some muscle to our midfield. I thought he looked impressive in our midfield. He looked terrible as a CB though.

Making a move for Oliver Torres now or next season could make me forget all about Thiago Alcantara though. Cesc's role with the team is more clearly defined now. He's not suited to take over for Xavi but we need to change up our tactics anyways. He does hand out some pretty assists with...

    Summed it up perfectly.

If he is able to tell Thiago that wants to go without making a statement to the media about it, then he should have! http://www.mundodeportivo.com/20130713/fc-barcelona/pep-guardiola-matias-manna-ataque-directiva-azulgrana_54376764439.html Read this article, very shady.

I will always respect Pep's accomplishments here as a player and a manager. Still doesn't give him the right to bad mouth Tito to Neymar Sr. or to publicly tap up one or our players.

I don't know if they have been talking privately or not. You don't either. He could have only been in contact with Thiago and his father through his agent (who happens to be Pep's brother) and perhaps wanted a sign that Pep really wanted Thiago. That could have been why Pep came out and said it...

You would think so. No need to publicly tap up one of our players then.

What influence could Pep have on Thiago staying or going by publicly stating it's basically him or no one that he wants? Real big influence if he still would have been considering to stay. I don't see how it's unrelated at all. It's very relevant.

Transfers and Rumours - old thread

Real Sociedad would pay a transfer fee of around 3M for Jonathan dos Santos. The Mexican would join Real Sociedad for 3 or 4 seasons. [as]

He doesn't have to say anything now that Pep has opened his big mouth. That's what I am telling you.

Hopefully we were able to at least get 22M out of this deal like it's been rumored. Sad to see him go before he really got a chance to shine here. Aside from one amazing preseason a couple years ago, we never got to really see his talent shine for Barca.

I'm talking about Pep here, not you. Who said anything about him, I DID. Nobody said you said anything about him.
  16. Cruijffista

    Thiago Translantara

Pep and his big mouth did all the talking for him anyways. Pep should have just told Bayern to negotiate with Barca in private and kept it at that. I lost a lot of the respect for Pep for the way he went about this. As for Thiago, I'm upset he's leaving but not overly. I feel like Tito already...

Torres could learn for a year or two on the bench, Xavi probably has 2 years left. I've seen a lot of Torres and I'm blown away on how good he is and how much he plays like Xavi. Give Cesc all the minutes he can handle, rotating with both Xavi and Iniesta. Sergio Roberto will probably get some...

Transfers and Rumours - old thread

Albiol is really not that bad of a player though. Callejon on the other hand is trash.
  19. Cruijffista

    Thiago Translantara

It's the way it played out especially with Thiago missing so many games to injury. Cesc is a better player than Thiago but Thiago is more suited for a Xavi-like role than Cesc is. It's time for Tito to get creative and earn his money. It's been said before but I'll say it again, we need to...

I have full confidence in Cesc to step up. No more playing him as a wing (Tito really didn't) or a False 9 and let him function as an AM. He does have some sweet assists when he has movement in front of him.
