    Depends on what you mean by "the modern era", outside Hazard, who less spoken about the better, Perez transfer policies are different than in the galactico-era. With the signing of Mbappe though, Perez reverts back to the start, of going with marketability above all else.

    The 2nd one yes, but i don't think the expectations were that high in terms of PSG winning it, a flawed trio, with declining Neymar, declining Messi(at club level), Mbappe was young, but neither he or Messi presses of the ball, fine in France, i guess, but not against the best teams in Europe...
