I agree with a lot of your points in particular about the whole youth infrastructure but I just cannot fathom the reason behind recalling Dunga. Sure, his team was organised but it was purely a counter attacking team using players of very limited ability. Any team techincally better and he was...

    Marquinhos

40 Million is too much for Marquinhos, as talented as he is, we need a physically imposing young defender which he isn't.

    Barça's Transfers and Rumors

It's not about the board, they are only trying to sign players Lucho wants. Its Lucho who needs to realise we need another defender.

Good point about the exporting of youngsters. Its insane how its even allowed by CBF, someone somewhere really needs to stop it. I can see you are in favour of Dunga but come on man, he's just a clone of Scolari. Same stubbornness, favourites like Julio Baptista, Josue. In fact he makes his...

It doesn't help most of the youngsters go abroad before they're fully developed in particular Ukraine or Russia and literally disappear from the radar so to speak. It'll be interesting to see if Dunga introduces youngsters because his last stint he only selected veterans really. There really was...

I know but for the first time ever I wouldn't be surprised. They just don't seem to care anymore, the motto is to keep recycling the same old pragmatic, stubborn yes men. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk

    Juan Guillermo Cuadrado

Does Lucho even know what he's doing? I cannot fathom spending so much on him only to play him at RB. He's a very good right sided attacker but there are better players than him out there. He isn't all that different to Sanchez who was better imo. He just totally totally isn't a RB. Come on...

They won't even qualify for the next World Cup under him. Expect his posse of mediocre players called up with no justification whatsoever.

Is Zubi really to blame here? I'm as big a critic aa the next guy but this is Lucho's vision and ideas. It's Lucho that's interested in Cuadrado, Marquinhos etc. Zubi simply acts on the instructions and negotiates with the club.

Wasn't Dunga recently sacked at Internacional? Great way to reward failure I say. Dunga is also stubborn and often chooses his people rather than merit. For me, he's pretty much the same as Scolari, same negativity just younger. And here's hoping they would have learnt something from the...

Unfortunately yes, they give PCB a real run for their money and just like them nepotism plays a big part in youth selection. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk

CBF are as corrupt as PCB which takes some doing. Anyone who watches cricket will know what I mean.

You say regardless as if we have been recruiting CB's regularly over the years. It wouldn't surprise me if its Mathieu and Cuadrado only.

    Mario Gotze

Messi is a magician with the ball at his feet and had explosive pace a few years back. So why does Gotze get called 'the German Messi' when pace isn't his forte? How would you compare him to Neymar?

    Mario Gotze

Can someone clarify what kind of player is? I hear many calling him the German Messi but whenever I've seen him play (admittedly not a lot), he rarely dribbles and when he does try he doesn't seem to have much pace. But like I said I've not seen him play very often.

Apparently asked Mourinho but he turned it down and might even ask Guardiola but I can't see him taking it either. It is a step in the right direction, I believe. Brazil not only needs to have a look at its infrastructure but also a a young, vibrant manager in touch with the modern game.

    Mats Hummels

I'm well aware of his injury. I was merely wondering what game the poster who wrote Batra matched Bale stride for stride was watching. Not that it would have mattered, Bale is simply too fast one v one.
