    Neymar Jr.

We scare teams, and rightly so, that is why we put 3 on Liverpool (can't remember any other team doing that to them all season). We put what 6 on PSG 2 years ago, 4 on Roma. He also can score plenty on the road in very intense matches--see @Spurs, @Real, @Atletico. Why we have completely lost...

    Arthur

Really looking forward to his 2nd year at Barca. Considering his injuries and adapting to the pace of Europe top flight--he was pretty amazing to be honest--and he should be a tick better this year at minimum by being in a better physio place. I don't see how we cannot have a lot of optimism...

    10 - Lionel Messi - V6

I would, Messi usually saves Argentina from epic fails against much worse opponents--see getting them through South American qualifying that wasn't certain until the end because they were so atrious without him. See him scraping them over the group stages at the WC. What Messi can't do is beat a...

    Nelson Semedo

Semedo started 20 of 38 Liga matches. He started 5 of 12 CL matches. He got right at 50% of the RB minutes over the season, despite Bob's overall performance metrics being a little better. Semedo has been adjusting to Barca football now 2 seasons, next year I think is the test year to see if he...

    Luis Suárez

Rotation would mean Messi has 2 Griezmann, Neymar & Suarez fresh all the time--wasn't saying playing all at once. Not only are they fresh, but Griezmann and Neymar add more defense and better cover for "walking Messi" than Dembele and Coutinho do. The other side of improving defense is the...

    Neymar Jr.

Having PC, 2/3 vet medifielders, and Malcom move on frees a lot of salary. Ideally loan Dembele too if both Neymar & Griezzman come. I think we can do it--Phil and Dembele have huge salaries and those others have big salaries (90-180K week).

    Neymar Jr.

Didn't we put of 4 goals on the CL runner up in London this past year? We put up goals @Real and @Atletico too in other high intensity matches. Our ugly exits have less to do with not scoring on the road, and more to do being able to run roughshot over, losing control, and getting threat after...

    Matthijs de Ligt

The other thing he does brilliantly is gets the media attention to his outlandishness and away from the client player. Thus we all blame and hate him, and less so his clients. He wears this like a badge on the way to the bank.

    Matthijs de Ligt

I agree. Bundesliga has a few young top prospects, some with pace to burn that MDL just doesn't have. I like Sanchez too but as well but I think Spurs would want MDL type fee--he has many years on his contract. And we an always see if Umtiti can get back to 90% or if Todibo or a Bara B player...

Have a view of Bruno Fernandes? (BTW I never would have thought it but he is a couple months older than Saul, both are about 24 and half)

    Barca Transfers and Rumors

ndo gets quite a few assists. also what about saul in terms of your desired profile (seems older but only 24)--not that he is likely attainable with rodri leaving. sorry i like arthur and ndo and saul all the better than ceballos. of course it is hard to get minutes in the real central...

    10 - Lionel Messi - V6

yes. but what i cant tell is as the #1 3rd place winner if that will mean brazil in the top bracket off the bat or in the bottom braket vs #1 from group c (chile/Uruguay). of course Argentina can be #2 in the group b with a win and paraguay loss/tie, that would put them vs venezuela in round 1...

    Luis Suárez

a rotation of messi, neymar, suarez and griezmann would be impossible to defend. and yes luis as the most physical of them and best one in the box poacher role is still important. i would sell coutinho, malcom, busi or rakitic to make this happen. ideally loaning dembele for a year (psg?)and...

    Matthijs de Ligt

as an aside it might be better for de ligt to face the pace and agility from serie a forwards than those from la liga or epl. might be better for him to ply his trade their 3 years and at 22-23 try to play with the big boys. i think what we do with our midfield and backline has far bigger...

    Leandro Paredes

we we have a couple of highly decorated world class defensive mids--take either one for 60mil or 241@100 and then you can move on from paredes.

    Barca Transfers and Rumors

maybe he was pointing our irony in the name. for the record no i don't think trippier would be better than the semedo/bob platoon. cancelo in, semedo out, could be interesting. couple other u22s promising too.

    Neymar Jr.

They can ask 300 mil, and we can ask for 340 mil for Coutinho/Dembele. Or we will call it even square with one of these two + either Raki or Busi. I am not a big fan of bringing Neymar back, but this would be tempting. Might be the best both clubs could do.

    Tanguy Ndombele

We do need to get rid of deadwood but more important is striking for the best targets now and worrying about that latter. Maybe with another midfield buy the vets know their place and further motivation to cooperate for a move. Most of the vets still want to play footy, not be bench fodder. Some...

    Barca Transfers and Rumors

I got to admit when I saw him I was unimpressed, I recall a particularly atrocious error. But his stats do look great. Maybe I just saw his worst moments--kind like Jordi Alba in leg 2. Maybe we got the wrong Portugesse RB and that is still correctable with various transfer partners. Open to it.
