I don't see it happening, his goalscoring is taking a hit currently. I think Messi will have a much better season stats wise and I don't see Madrid doing a league CL double, the Confederations cup could be his chance though. -

Shame he will lose the Ballon Dor and unfortunately we are not look good for any trophies in 2017. Hopefully he continues to smash in goals in Europe and elsewhere and win it with stats next time around. -

Thats true be in the end it was the right decsiion, to thrive he needs to largely operate in the spaces Messi takes up. At barca it was like he boxing without gloves on, he never was never able to fully unleash and play to his full potential.- Kerrybai
