    Kevin-Prince Boateng

Yet he made every single one of those sides better. It probably didn't make economical sense to sign him permanently.

    Kevin-Prince Boateng

Maybe not the most exciting but don't really see what there is to lose? He's a decent player, showed that wherever he'd been and he adds an option. The club clearly doesn't have the money to be throwing about so a loan deal is perfect and won't cost the earth. I wish my main club Aston Villa...

I'd play Semedo at lb before I considered him.

    Juan Miranda

Don't like to be critical of a kid but the lad can't pass, can't tackle and is positionally awful. Maybe time to grow but shouldn't be anywhere near the first team, even in the copa.

    7 - Philippe Coutinho - V1

I’m sorry but when Messi plays, people complain about not taking responsibility and having a shot. When it doesn’t go in, you say “should have passed”. Can’t have both

He did. Better than anyone on the pitch

    10 - Lionel Messi - v5

Thrives on the extra responsibility. There was a time we had to abandon the false 9 as teams figured out how to play against it. Judging by the start of this season, they seem to have forgotten.

WC Qualifiers 2018 - South America

He's not played well but he's taken more responsibility than Dybala or Icardi. The more I see of Messi and Dybala together, the more I'm convinced it won't work. The formation itself doesn't look too bad, they just need a bit more from the forwards.

Sampaoli has balls. Should be very interesting.

Spanish SuperCopa: Real Madrid - FC Barcelona (5-1)

The board are useless and need replacing, yes. That isn't going to be happening on the back of a Spanish Super Cup result. If that was true about players not giving it their all to send out a message, I'd be disgusted. Think of the fans that have gone there, think about the fans worldwide...

    Barca Transfers and Rumors

We won't know how good he can be playing in our first team with a different dynamic and better players around him unless he's given a chance. I'd hope to have other options in before the start of the season but I wouldn't be against letting him show what he can do, starting with the Super Cup.

Agree. Both individually are a downgrade.

    Barca Transfers and Rumors

Hype sells papers. I read the transfer rumours to amuse myself. I have never thought for one second there's any truth behind it.

    Neymar Jr. - v5

Not going to go down the route of saying he wasn't that good anyway just because he's left. I'm sad to see a fantastic talent go. Now that its done, lets just hope the money is invested wisely. We aren't going to be able to replace him with a better player, so it'll have to be an overall...

    Argentina

I agree. I think in the first two games it's something he's tried to look at. Notice Di Maria attempting to impact the game much more, taking on shots (from improbable angles at times) and getting crosses in. I can't imagine he was too impressed with what he saw from Higuain in the first...

Ernesto Valverde is the new FC Barcelona coach

Pep, yes, he was out of the blue. As for LE I'm not so sure. Winning a few titles in Greece for a team that could win it without a manager doesn't earn a huge amount of credit. With the players Bilbao have I'd have expected them to do better. It's just an unimaginative appointment that has...

Ernesto Valverde is the new FC Barcelona coach

Hugely underwhelming. Manager with little success, appointed because he was the easy choice with a link to the club. Doesn't sit well with me. Good luck to him though, would love to eat my words.

    10 - Lionel Messi - v5

At the time you can't argue though that, putting loyalties aside, Argentina has already won two world cups and represented a better chance of international success. Yes, Spain could have poached him. I'm still massively in favour of players playing for the country of their birth though. It...

WC Qualifiers 2018 - South America

Got a bit of sympathy with this one for the players out there, they're literally having to pick their moments to sprint and when not to. Two things I don't have sympathy for though. Firstly, what on earth is that team selection. Secondly, Ever Banega. I don't see it. He's absolutely...

    10 - Lionel Messi - v5

A player swears and is banned for four games? Whereas violent conduct is a straight red and only 3 games? Sounds about right FIFA.
