    Serie A

I hope Milan beat Atalanta next week but it will be tough, saving grace is Atalanta playing Juve mid-week hopefully that gives Milan the advantage. So hopefully Lille, Milan, Napoli, Atletico and Leicester can finish the job over the next week.

Should Barca hire Xavi as their next manager?

Koeman isn't good enough so we need a change and we don't have many options so I think Xavi is worth the risk, and it will be exciting to see how he will do. With Koeman it was clear he was never up to the job and shouldn't have been hired in the first place, with Xavi it could go either way.

    Ligue 1

Angers beat Lille in the first fixture so it will be tough, but hopefully they get it done.

    Ronald Koeman

Xavi might be the answer, we don't know, he could be brilliant but it is a huge risk. But Koeman had his opportunity and blew it, I can't believe how the team collapsed at the end of the season, I have seen it in one-off games but not continuous week after week.

    Ronald Koeman

Why would anyone want Messi to leave, he is still the best player in the world, the clubs needs him.

    Lionel Messi - v7

Barca have been one of the biggest clubs since the 40s, and will continue to be after Messi, the brand will still be very strong. Football moves on very quickly but right now Messi is the biggest name in the sport and still the best player so of course Barca want to keep him, every other club...

    Sergio Agüero

Yep you are right, I didn't think about that, but hopefully any fees we have to pay won't be too big.

    Sergio Agüero

I haven't seen much of Aguero recently, has he been that bad? We need a finisher in the team other than Messi and maybe Aguero will be useful and he will be a free transfer, as will Garcia and Depay I think? Gini has one year left so if they all come in it would be good business to tie the club...

    La Liga 2020/21

Phew, thought they were going to blow it there. As much as I want Barca to win it, Atletico taking the title is good for Spanish football, and a lot better than Real winning back to back.

    Ronald Koeman

Rodgers is doing a brilliant job with Leicester, unlucky not to get top4 last year and close again this season and the FA Cup Final, he deserves another shot at a top top club. It would be interesting to see how he would do at Barca, I would take the gamble and it would be great for me...

    Why wouldn't they?

    Champions League

Spanish clubs aren't done, they just need better managers. Look at Chelsea under Tuchel compared to what they were under Lampard, huge difference. Barcelona and Real have got to stop bringing in club legends and instead try and hire a world class coach. Barca haven't hired a bona fide top...

    Champions League

It's more that the best managers are flowing into the EPL, take Tuchel, Klopp & Pep out of the Premier and into La Liga it would turn around the other way, imo. The next Premier League TV deal (2022-25) will not be an auction as usual as they fear it could be smaller than the current deal...

    1 - Marc-Andre ter Ansplant

Fuck me, this board is full of weirdos. Ter Stegen should have done better tonight but there is not many better than him in the world, maybe 3 or 4 tops.

    Bundesliga

Bundesliga now is pretty much what the Premier League was in the 90s, Utd dominated and bought whoever they wanted, and the league was behind La Liga and Serie A for quality and maybe even the Bundesliga too, nobody called the Premiership a farmers League. I don't know why modern fans are...

    FC Barcelona Finances

Yep, now is the perfect time to renovate Camp Nou, yet nothing is happening and Real are well on their way to renovating theirs.

    La Liga 2020/21

So we need to make up 2 points on both Madrid sides, we can beat Atleti and that will take care of that, so we just need Real to draw a game whilst we win all 8. We have managed 7 in a row this season, that ended with a draw against Cadiz, then we won another 6 on the spin, so we were a...

    Lionel Messi - v7

He played pretty well, but it is much easier for Real to defend when Messi is 90% of the attack, he needs the others to help him out.

La Liga | Round 30: Real Madrid - FC Barcelona 2-1

We are 1 point behind with 8 games left how can you say its over?

La Liga | Round 30: Real Madrid - FC Barcelona 2-1

Played pretty well, not every defeat has to be a bad performance, just a little unlucky Real scored a lucky free kick, but should have started with the line up in the second half. We have to beat Atleti now and probably win all the other games too.
