FC Barcelona: Win of the youth system

Damn that sucks, when I finally watch him I'll give my verdict but being worse than Araujo on the ball just eradicates any hope of him being able to reach the potential people were saying he could.

FC Barcelona: Win of the youth system

I read alot of good things about Hafiz Gariba, and apparently he did well for Barca Atletic in today's game, excited to see more of him in particular.

    Barca Transfers and Rumors

Personal wish of mine but I wish Barca bought more from Ligue 1, in my opinion it is probably the best league for platforming and generating talents based on how much it marries the physical and technical side of the game. Obviously not everyone will bang, but that league's personality helps...

    Chelsea

Absolutely incredible academy. Josh Acheampong looks like an absolute star in the making, incredible potential and great player. Haven't seen a CB prospect with so much tools to work with like he does in a while. Not to mention his phenotype being perfect for his role. Chelsea have an absolute gem.

    17 - Marc Casadó

Honestly, one of the more obvious sales I've seen in a while. I have no qualms keeping him but considering what we already have and upcoming, Casado will most likely quickly become redundant and a sale would take advantage of that, especially for 30m plus.

    21 - Frenkie de Jong

I myself argued that Pedri shouldn't be judged as a creator since his role wasn't to create. However he does create and we benefit as a team from that. Pedri does creates, circulates and defensive work while alternating up and down depending on Frenkie's position. Yet a constant critique on...

    21 - Frenkie de Jong

I went back and watched a compilation of his best aspects of the game (shouldn't usually be how you judge a performance), and it occurred to me, Frenkie played passes that allowed others to receive the ball to then actually do something. It made sense why he filled up the stat sheet...

    8 - Pedri

He had more key passes but created less xA than Pedri so what does that say?(both stats however are flawed). As for constantly moving the ball foward, I actually applaud him for that, but so did Pedri.

    8 - Pedri

Creating threat is not = passing to Lamine more, for one. On the ball Frenkie barely took any initiative at all. 'Do more on the ball' means what to you because ambiguous statements like that do nothing. I for one expect Frenkie to pass to Yamal more, they play on the same side.

    8 - Pedri

How does that refute anything I said? Or are you itching for an opportunity to earn Frenkie some brownie points?

    8 - Pedri

Great game today, much more intent to create threat than our other midfielders and shifted the focus of the attack CONSTANTLY which was perfect for allowing Lamine to go 1v1 and do his thing. He cycled possession well but wasn't as good defensively sweeping as he should be. The pass to Raphina...

    21 - Frenkie de Jong

Decent today but was absolutely abhorrent defensively, was treated like a hologram far too often, bypassed constantly like he didn't even exist. And on the ball he today he delegated so much responsibility to Pedri it was insane. He didn't take initiative at all.

    20 - Dani Olmo

Absolute ghost. Doesn't take up the right positions within the Inter block the way he used to and too often he was a non factor in possession.

    15 - Andreas Christensen

Looked decent when he came on, might be something there

    10 - Lamine Yamal

Incroyable performance. So diverse in creating threat, whether it be by dribbling, passing or scoring apparently. Motm perfomance even when constantly doubled or tripled team. What a talent man, our own technical leader.

    Martin Odegaard

Abysmal, and limited. His removal for an actually good playmaker would enhance Arsenal's potential.

    Barca Transfers and Rumors

I agree with you as it pertains to a squad building perspective. The only LB I would rather have than Balde is Nuno Mendes. Nuno is better than Balde, however they share the same insane profiles. Cucu to me isn't really good at anything, just a decent generalist. Grimaldo on the other hand is...

The highlights don't tell the real story all the time. I'm a Lakers fan and yesterday Lebron was probably our best defender. From the first to third quarter he put the most amount of energy out of everyone and was always trying to jab at Ant when he had the ball on the wing on his side.
