    Cesc Fàbregas

The problem with many Barca fans is that they're finding it very difficult to accept that a change in system of play is necessary (and that has nothing to do with Cesc or any other player), they feel that by finding similar players to replace the aging ones, all will be well but it's deeper than...

    Iniesta's not a 10 imo

    Cesc Fàbregas

I don't know where you got your stats from, but i follow the Spanish team's games and there's no way you can say Carzola gets as much playing time as Fabregas And if i'm not mistaken, Cesc has participated in almost every game for Spain (except when injured) since after the EC.

    Cesc Fàbregas

Take for example the last 2 games against Madrid. In the 1st one, he made a clean through ball to Messi which left Messi 1v1 with the goal keeper and Messi didn't even get his shot on target. In the recent game against Madrid, there was the through ball to Messi in the 1st half which Messi...

    Andrés Iniesta

IMO He has no chance of winning it even if Spain wins the WC.

    Alexis Sanchez

Tiki Taka the way Barca plays it has ran it's course, and no offense but it's mostly side passes for most parts now. Almost every team knows how to stop them now. It might be hard for some to admit, but it's time for Barca operate serious changes in the style of play imo. Against Madrid, they...

    Cesc Fàbregas

I think you're forgetting that Barca can't recrute any player next season.

    Cesc Fàbregas

It might be hard for some to admit, but imo Barca needs to change or modify their style of playing. Not really to fit Cesc, but because this style has really ran it's course.

Isn't that the coach's fault then? And why don't they also have this problem in the Spanish NT?

    Jose Manuel Pinto

He should have really done better on that 1st goal

    Cesc Fàbregas

He's scored 3 times against Madrid since he came back to Barca though if i'm not wrong..

Madrid still didn't or couldn't stop Barca from keeping possession, but they found quicker and more effective ways of counter attacking. And whenever they tried to pass the ball out, they did it well too. IMO they play better as a team without Ronaldo, but you can't bench a player like that either.

    Cesc Fàbregas

He was more of a CAM (like Lampard is for Chelsea)
  14. S

    Xavi Hernández

Actually i think the pass was meant for Iniesta who was then brilliant enough to let the ball pass him and move straight on to Neymar's path. And yeah i also think he had a good game

    Cesc Fàbregas

Actually those occasions were when the score was still 1-0 and also when it was 1-1. Madrid didn't have any other occasion after they scored the 2nd goal Barca's real issue is that they need to start implimenting another style of play and move from Pep's system because it's ran it's course imo...

    Cesc Fàbregas

Madrid had about 4/5 counter occasions after Cesc was subed off, Modric alo hit the post and Bale had a goal that was dissallowed. And yeah Offcourse Barca were outplaying them back then under Pep, and is still having as much possession now against them as back then. But you're ignoring the fact...

    Cesc Fàbregas

In Pep era, Madrid rarely had as much goal occasions as they've been having more recently (especially tonight). About the distribution, the only time they got through the defensive block after he was subbed off was the occasion Neymar missed. Apart from that, it never looked like Barca will...

    Cesc Fàbregas

To some, It's like if he doesn't score or assist, then he'll be the reason why everything went wrong.
  19. S

    Cesc Fàbregas

Against City and against Madrid (including tonight's game), he touched a lot of the ball and didn't often lose possesion. Like i said earlier, he's had bad games, but tonight's game isn't one of them.
  20. S

    Cesc Fàbregas

He went out, and Madrid continued to have their counter attack occasions and blowing through Barca midfielders like they weren't there. And if they weren't creating anything worth mentionning, then what's the distribution you're talking of?
