    Yeah, looked at your recent call-ups on Wikipedia. Not exactly the most inspiring bunch in central defence! Maybe a back 3 / 5 is the way to compensate for that? England don't have great centre halves but playing 3 of them seems to have made us more solid.

    Sweden played well in the first half, just wasted chances. Hopefully they will stick one away eventually, or they will be punished like Iceland were for the same mistake.

    In all seriousness, it would be great if you could qualify for a tournament. Euro 2016 was great with England, Wales, and the Irish teams, but it was missing Scotland to complete the set. It might happen, you've got some good players like Robertson and Tierney. Just typical Scottish bad luck...

    Exactly. The only area Iceland were poor against Croatia was chance conversion. With their goalscoring form at the Euros, they'd have scored 4 or 5 from the chances they had tonight.

    2-1, Iceland have lost. :/ Still, lots to be proud of for them. Very brave performance, and they would have gone through if they'd converted some more of their chances - they certainly had enough! Hopefully they will make it to the Euros in 2 years time, they bring a lot to these tournaments...

    Croatia 1-0 up. That's probably curtains for Iceland now. :( I saw it coming after they wasted those chances. Still, incredible achievement for such a tiny country to even get here and play well against Croatia and Argentina.
