    Mate, they had trouble against Australia. :lol: Fair play, they keep getting the job done. But the performances of this France side are nothing to shout about. I would love England (or Croatia, if we lose) to bring them crashing back down to Earth just like Portugal did.

    Are you serious? Eden Hazard is an amazing player. He has dragged two Chelsea sides to league titles, all while playing in a very defensive system and having very little help. To say he "does nothing with the ball" is incredibly wide of the mark.

    The defences are probably roughly equal. Croatia's midfield is far superior to England's. But England has a world-class striker. There's not much in it, on paper.

    Well it depends who you listen to. One minute, the England haters say all our players are shit and will go out against the first "good" team we meet; the next, we are favourites vs Croatia and it will be a disgrace if we lose.

    Feel for Russia, they have done very well and been a pleasure to watch. Amazing fighting spirit. Croatia probably slight favourites but I'm not scared of them.

    They scored, France didn't. France have had this reputation as an elite team for years now and have done nothing to justify it, whereas Portugal won a trophy and punch above their weight.
