    David Luiz

Arbelloa made 318 passes in 6 games, average of 53 per game, not bad for someone who hardly got the ball! More than Silva, yes at times he didn't receive the ball, but as I said above he had the most possession in the oppositions box than any other defender at the tournament, that shows he got...

    David Luiz

I don't get why people think Arbeloa is 'garbage' he's not a great player but he's certainly a good player. You don't get picked by both VDB and Mourinho if you're poor. Arbeloa had an excellent Euro 2012 and was always an outlet for Spain and was in the opposition's box more time than any other...

    Xavi Hernández

Found it mate, cheers anyway. Can't remember, maybe the outrageous pass I was thinking off was given as offside, makes sense. Assume they don't count a chipped ball as a through pass then? I was looking at the key passes earlier.

    Xavi Hernández

Where exactly did you find those through ball numbers, couldn't find them. Also what do they determine as a through ball? Because according to whoscored Xavi had 0 against Malaga, which clearly wasn't the case. Edit: Found the TB part.

    Xavi Hernández

No idea where you got those stats from, because he has 44 on whoscored as does Iniesta. Xavi has had 34 shots, Iniesta has 1 more and Fabregas 15 more. So no idea where this myth comes from that he's scared to shot, doesn't attempt through balls etc, did you see the one last night?

    Xavi Hernández

Assists are by far the worst statistic in football. Xavi could get an assist for playing a simple 2 yard pass at the half way line if Messi goes up and beats the opposition then scores, whilst on the other hand Xavi could play an outstanding killer pass to Pedro/Alves who then play a simple side...

    Spain

Mata should play, he's by far had the best season out of the whole squad. My 11 would be this. Casillas Arbeloa Ramos Pique Alba Xavi Martinez Busquets Mata Villa Iniesta Although we know that Fabregas will start, as most likely will Silva!

    Friendlies

Why does Ashley Cole's errors always get overlooked? First goal he walked slowly away from the goals when the shot was coming in, second goal he allowed the cross to come in. So overrated. Neymar has done nothing, especially second half when he has hardly touched the ball.

    Friendlies

One of the worst goalkeeping errors I've seen, doesn't look comfortable with the ball at his feet, which is a key aspect for a Barcelona goalkeeper.

    Isco

Isco >>>>>>>>>>>>> Nasri Also has more potential than Silva, IMO, and will become much more consistent.

    David Villa

Hoping he goes to Juventus, At Madrid or a return to Valencia although doubt they can afford him.

    David Luiz

I've NEVER seen the hype in Ashley Cole, IMO the most overrated full back to ever play the game. The amount of times he gets caught out of position goes unnoticed, when someone like Evra does the same he gets slated all over the place. His errors/mistakes get ignored because he's English...

    David Luiz

Luiz is nowhere near world class. Currently the only actual world class player is Mata, Cech has been up and down since his injury.

    International Champions Cup 2013

Looking forward to this, Everton being the odd one out.

Transfers and Rumours - old thread

lol at someone saying they would be happy to sign Higuain, nowhere near good enough for Barcelona, scores goals but his al round game is poor.

Confederations Cup 2013 - Final: Brazil 3-0 Spain

Superb mate. Looking forward to this tournament and the Under 21s championship.

Transfers and Rumours - old thread

Why would you prefer Silva or Cazorla? Cazorla ain't in the same league as Mata and I rate the former highly. Silva is far too inconsistent and his productivity is not as good. Mata >> Silva >>>> Cazorla.

    Juan Manuel Mata

Mata is a class act, having an interest in Valencia, I've always stated he was better than Silva. Silva is far too inconsistent and Mata is much more productive. Would have been a great signing for Barcelona.

Transfers and Rumours - old thread

I said a few months ago that I would sell Alves to PSG/Monaco who would pay decent money and move Montoya into the team or sign a more defensive minded right back. A key problem defensively this year has been two attack minded fullbacks in Alba and Alves leaving space in behind.
  20. DavidVillano1

    Cesc Fàbregas

Gundogan is a class act and I've been saying this since 2011 and he's even got better since then. Yes he could flop, just like any player could flop. However at the moment he would be a superb signing for any club, the talent and potential he has is very high and he's already a level above...
