    11 - Raphinha

Was a good position for him. The less he has to dribble past defenders, the better.
  2. S

    9 - Robert Lewandowski

Joao squared are carrying his corpse around the past few games.
  3. S

    João Félix

Online discourse around him made it sound like the club was getting a certified bum, but he's been a pleasant surprise. Finds nice pockets of space to dribble, receive the ball and pass into.
  4. S

    10 - Lamine Yamal

He's too young to have to play this often on the first team. Need stricter laws regarding child labour.
  5. S

    2 - João Cancelo

Finally a proper RB. Makes an immense difference to the overall play of the team. Good to get it right after flop signings like Aleix Vidal, Semedo, and Dest.
  6. S

    Jude Bellingham

He's a young, expensive player from Dortmund*. He'll come back down to Earth and flop. *Haaland is an exception.
  7. S

    2 - João Cancelo

He will redeem Lewandowski the way the masked woman redeemed Dr. Bill Harford in Eyes Wide Shut

    Oriol Romeu

Amazing poem. Would put all time poets like TS Eliot and Robert Frost to shame.
  9. S

    Sergio Busquets

Busquet's skillset was so underrated and unappreciated. Bad squad planning by the Bartomeu board not only hurt Messi, but also hurt Busquets' legacy. Another chance to appreciate him in the MLS. Other midfielders like Pirlo, Lampard, and Gerrard were flops in the MLS.
  10. S

    Xavi Hernández

The club has no money for their preferred target, Zubimendi, who probably didn't want to leave this summer anyway.
  11. S

    9 - Robert Lewandowski

I think Cancelo was offside on that play so a goal wouldn't have counted.
  12. S

    6 - Gavi

Looked a little better when he played deeper once Romeu went off. Valverde would be getting crucified if he used Gavi as a workhorse on the wing the way Xavi does.
  13. S

    Oriol Romeu

Well the claim was that Busquets was a liability with his giveaways and inability to cover ground, and that any players that wasn't a liability would be a big improvement to the overall play. So far, Romeu hasn't been a negative liability for the team.

    İlkay Gündoğan

Looks a bit pudgy. Needs to hit some cardio at the gym.
  15. S

    23 - Jules Kounde

Was great today. Been pretty good now with a consistent run of games at CB. Some fans are too obsessed with selling young players that cost a significant transfer fee. Was similar case with De Jong. Claims of how it was better to sell and get the money to reinvest in getting a cheaper, better...

    Xavi Hernández

Xaviball is just a redressed version of Valverde's sufferingball. Embarassing to be on the backfoot for much of the game, especially against 10 men.
  17. S

    Ivan Fresneda

Agree. Vanderson looks pretty good and he'll get a lot more attention now that he has been called to the Brazil NT and will probably get a chance to start.
  18. S

    24 - Eric García

True, Bartra was just a pretty boy unwilling to get dirty. Eric has grit, but he is just too slow and weak.
  19. S

    6 - Gavi

Lack of discipline to get an unnecessary yellow card. Needs a spanking.
  20. S

    10 - Lamine Yamal

Too young, too skinny, body not filled out yet. Hope he isn't another Fati situation where he gets an early knee injury.
