    Thiago Translantara

IMO, Ceac coming does not mean Thiago's going. Here's why: The minutes Thiago would get aren't Iniesta's and Xavi's. It's usually Keita that subs in for Xaviesta. Cesc would most likely get this sub if he shows. Thiago will still get limited playing time this season and most likely will start...

Who would you sign between Cesc or Sanchez this season?

I think we should: - keep Jeffren, forget about Sanchez - sell Bojan, get a back-up striker that will become our main striker after Villa retires - but then again, Messi is a false 9 now which leaves Pedro and Villa more like RF ams LF, so perhaps Sanchez makes sense - sell Milito and Maxwell...

I was just wondering the same thing.

    Thiago Translantara

I think it was stated in his contract renewal that he would be on the first team this coming season. So I honestly don't see us letting him go. Even if we get Fabregas, I think the plan is to play them together after Xavi and Iniesta retires.

2011 CL Final: FC Barcelona - Manchester United FC 3-1 - Champions!

Yeh, looking at the last few classicos, I'm glad Busquets and Pedro dived. Yeh, I said it. RM was playing dirty and it was time to get the referee's attention. Sooner or later, Marcello and Di Maria were gonna dive too. At least Alves was really kicked, unlike Peter Crouch's yellow cards...

Great comment Lint. Agri, nice perspective of our treble ;)

2011 CL Final: FC Barcelona - Manchester United FC 3-1 - Champions!

Yeh, I agree. Thanks Man U for playing real football. Not trying to break our players' ankles, stepping on our players while the ref aren't looking, plowing into Messi to injure him... Though I don't condone play acting, I think Real Madrid shouldn't complain when we're just playing down to...

2011 CL Final: FC Barcelona - Manchester United FC 3-1 - Champions!

Great game Man U fans. I still believe that Man U is the most respectable team in the game of football. Class.

    Sergio Busquets

Man, Mourinho has turn both our clubs into bickering children. Every club can release videos like that. I wish we can just get back to football. Mourinho has really brought a disturbing soap opera to La Liga. Downright sad.

Being on the end of racial insults throughout life, from both african american, mexican americans, caucasian americans, asians against asians, brazilian blacks, italians (omg, the italians, lol)... Anyway, I'm neither numb or angry at situations like this anymore. I started to realize that...

    Barça Fan Club in Brooklyn

Just a reminder that we're watching the game today at Berry Park again. Last week wasn't bad, but the good news is the owner said he will change his bar from a Liverpool bar to Barcelona bar if we can get more people in there.

    14 - Javier Mascherano

Just goes to show how Barça is a team on a different level. Being the best player in your position isn't good enough. You have to get use to the system and become an integrated part of the passing scheme, then the player can be effective on the pitch. As long as Mascherano has patience, he'll...

    Ibrahim Afellay

Interesting that you should say that. Yesterday, while watching the game, they showed Jeffren sitting in the stands, and then my friend turned to me and said almost the same thing. "We have Afellay. Jeffren will be sold during this upcoming transfer." Now i'm beginning to think it's true...

I use to live in DC for 18 years. No thanks. I'm sticking to Brooklyn / Manhattan now. Well, best of luck to our team today and I hope some of you can make it. BTW, I've heard a lot about the Chinatown bus, but I'll never take it. But I'lloat certainly always love Chinatown food.

Hey guys, Not sure where this post should go, but I want to invite everyone that's in the Manhattan/Brooklyn area to watch all the games at Berry Park in Williamsburg, Brooklyn with us. It's started by my buddy Xavi and I, Chadwick. We'll be wearing the Barça jerseys, duh ;) 4pm this...

    Daniel Alves

Just read on El Mundo Deportivo and Sport.es that Alves is being presented a final proposal and that Barcelona won't go any higher. From the translations, it sounds like he's just being paid a little under Xavi and Iniesta. I'm not too sure, so don't quote me on it. If anyone here can...

    Daniel Alves

I feel it's pretty obvious about Alves. He's only 27. He can give us another good 2-3 years of service. Perhaps even up to 5. Why spend money in the transfer market while we already have one of the best RB's in the game today? Plus there's no youth player shining in that position. I say we...

    Sergio Busquets

Here we go. For all those who didn't worry, thumbs up. For all those who did, there's always another rumor later to 'not get worried' about. Midfielder Sergio Busquets has verbally agreed to a contract extension with Barcelona until 2016, and an official announcement from the club is expected...

I honestly think Afellay is being used for bait in our future negotiations for Cesc.

    Thiago Translantara

Congrats to Thiago and I can't wait to see his brother play on our first team one day. But just to remind everyone why Barça has a such a hard-on to get Cesc back. It's not only because he's a world class midfielder from our cantera, but it's the fact that he's from Barcelona, a Catalan. I...
